Came here at 6pm on a Saturday night. There was nobody at the hostess stand and no waiters or any staff of any kind in the dining area. Waited several minutes for someone in the kitchen to notice me and get me a table.

There appeared to be two 16-year-old's working as waitresses, but it was as if this restaurant had just opened today and I was their first ever customer.

After 10+ minutes and nobody has taken our order, I realized that the waitress doesn't know she's supposed to take our order. I flagged her down the next time she passed and told her that we're ready to order. I asked if the chicken mole is mole poblano and she said she doesn't know and would have to check. Such a strange thing to not know given the limited menu.

I ordered the chicken mole with guacamole appetizer and my girlfriend ordered the carne asada and margarita. The margarita was served after around 15 minutes. We both tasted it and it didn't seem to have any alcohol in it. We pointed it out to the waitress and she said something ridiculous like "oh you can't taste the alcohol because it's really smooth" really like a 16 year old drinks lots of margaritas and we don't know what tequila tastes like.

After 20 minutes and no food had come out of the kitchen - for anyone (not just us), I flagged down the waitress and asked when our appetizer is coming out. Around 10 minutes later she gives us a single scoop of guacamole served in a tiny dish. It was not enough for 2 people as I had clearly intended it to be.

After another 15 minutes, I suggested to the waitress that we would leave if our entrees aren't coming out. She very quickly brought out our entrees. The carne asada isn't sliced meat, it was served as a whole bone-in steak. Very odd.

My mole poblano was OK but not the best I've had and not nearly worth the inexplicable 45...

On my first visit here I parked outside and called in my order. I ordered a Menudo and 6 barbacoa tacos. I waited 10 minutes and walked in, I smiled and said good morning to the man who was behind the register, as I walked up he was literally looking at me up and down, he never said good morning, welcome in NOTHING. I stood at the window and he was just looking around but never directed his attention towards me. Finally I said I’m here to pick up my order I called in. He walks out from behind the counter and walks over to a table to my right and grabs a paper and walked back behind the register. He proceeded to just look at me up and down and when he got to the register he said your food is over there on that table , told the price of my food and took my payment. I said thank you, and he again just looked at me up and down and did not give a “you are welcome” “please come back and see us” . I felt VERY uncomfortable and VERY unwelcome by my own raza. The food was okay, I liked that they had hand made tortillas and the menudo was mostly flavorful. I will not be returning, I don’t think he wanted me to be there anyway. I only went here because the restaurant I originally wanted to go to was closed , it was around 8am. This was a really unpleasant experience, please have ALL of your staff acknowledge your customers. You make eye contact, smile and say good morning...

We visited with my daughter this morning and I was expecting more than what we received. We random go out and check out Mexican restaurants for good food and this one was one of the worse I have ever been at. They only have can drinks or bottle no refills. No sweet tea only unsweetened. My daughter ask for Carne Asada and it taste horrible looked old and no season was very hard to chew on so my daughter end up just eating the rice and lettuce on the flower tortilla. I ordered Menudo and a side of Rice. The rice was over cooked and had a funny taste to it nothing I had tasted before on rice and I have been on multiple Mexican restaurants all over. The lime for the menudo was dry no juice come out when I squish it. Also the cilantro as old with brown and yellow on it. I really thought I was going to get good food but I was surprised how horrible the food is. The menudo was more water and light color but not much flavor in it. I will definitely not go back neither recommend it to anyone. There is another Mexican restaurant just 5 min from them that have way much better food and prices are competitive as well. I give them 2 starts because the waitress was nice and friendly and the...

Very surprised how this place had a high rating... There was only one table with customers when we came and we quickly found out why. The place was lacking basic maintenance and service. Food was matching the ceiling. In the picture is the "huevos rancheros" and next to it is the salad that was included with the plate, but forgotten to be brought to the table. To be honest, I would not mind if it was missed all together. Chopped letuce and a slice of tomato IS NOT consider to be a salad. The waiter did not even apologize for forgetting it and not even once asked us how everything was (maybe due to embarrasment). Worst experience in McKinney so far.

DO NOT EAT HERE! my food took a long time to come out i was on taco #4 and i found a hair in my food embedded into the taco meat im not sure if i ate any of the hair but i’m disgusted my brother ordered 3 chicken flautas as he was halfway done through the second one he took a bite of something hard and it was a toothpick he assumed it was from holding the chicken in place and let it slide up until he bit into the next one and found an even bigger toothpick my boyfriend ordered carne asada and everything was great until where parts of the meat felt very rubbery and stiff we do not recommend going to this establishment
