Listen, I thought I was just walking into a little gem and mineral shop to kill time while my wife tried on clothes down the street. What actually happened was I crossed the threshold into House of Gems and was immediately spiritually cleansed by the positive energy radiating from a 30-pound amethyst cathedral that might be sentient.

This place is like if a science museum and a wizard’s treasure trove had a baby and that baby grew up to sell ethically sourced crystals, dino fossils, and meteorites with personality.

I left with a huge amethyst!

If you’re in downtown McKinney and don’t stop by House of Gems, you’re robbing your soul of some truly sparkly healing....

This store is amazing. I’ve come in a few times now and each time I leave, I have an urge to comeback again and again. They’re craftsmanship knows no bounds, from detailed statues made out of hardware, to the jewelry made from the many rocks and gems of their store. The atmosphere is welcoming, the customer service goes beyond expectations, and I highly recommend this store to anyone who may be passing by or reading...
