I hate to even leave a bad review because I LOVE this restaurant!! And I come often, but today their new guy I’ve never send before didn’t listen to a word I said. I would have left one star but I like the store so I’m leaving two.
So Thor with a mustache, the blonde long haired guy didn’t listen to a WORD I requested. In fact I think he actually missed part of my order possibly. I ordered three pizzas well done, and a half Sadona Salad ( which is awesome ). I requested he tell the kitchen NOT to put the two metal sauce cups in the actual salad. ( this is an unsanitary thing they do there. They always put the sauce cups in the actual salad which is nasty. I don’t know why they think people want the sauce cups in the actual salad touching their food).
After a long time of waiting, I asked him where my salad was, he said hold on, then I saw him go to the computer. I don’t think he even put it in and I saw him tell the cook something.
I had a feeling he didn’t tell them about the cups, so when I went over sure enough they had the cups in the salad, I complained, he then took them out with his hands and handed it all to me at their bar.
When I got to table I sat the cups of sauce down, and when I picked one up the sauce spilled everywhere because avocado was stuck to the bottom of the cup from being in the salad ( which I specifically requested not to do!)
Then I figured I better make sure the cook knew to make our pizzas well done because I was pretty sure he hadn’t told them that either. I told the manager and I can tell he hadn’t been told. We had to wait even longer for that.
The waiter never came back till we were done and just gave me the bill without asking if we needed anything, I told him I’d like a Diet Coke to go he said okay. When he came back with my card, of course no drink. I had to ask again. This guy needs to be washing dishes not taking orders.
While I’m at it, I’ve decided NO MORE leaving these HUGE 18+ suggested tips INCLUDING TAX🤦🏽♂️. I can’t believe the nerve of the industry. PAY YOUR WORKERS. I’m never leaving a tip on tax again ANYWHERE…. and I am only leaving between 10%-12% max. It’s a TIP FOR GOOD SERVICE NOT...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Cadillac Pizza Pub in McKinney for the first time, and I must say it was an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived, our server Christian impressed us with his friendly demeanor and helpful recommendations. He was attentive and responsive throughout our meal, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Christian's service alone deserves high praise.
We started our meal by ordering a custom pizza with our choice of toppings. The pizza arrived with a thin crust that was cooked to perfection. Unlike many other places that serve thin crusts, Cadillac Pizza Pub managed to maintain a crisp texture without any sogginess. The flavors of the toppings melded together beautifully, resulting in a mouthwatering combination. It was evident that the ingredients were of high quality, and the overall taste of the pizza was exceptional.
In addition to the pizza, we also tried the Caddy Caprese Salad, which proved to be a delightful accompaniment. The salad consisted of fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, pepperoncini, and balsamic vinaigrette. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients complemented each other perfectly. It was evident that great care had been taken in the preparation of this dish.
The atmosphere at Cadillac Pizza Pub was another standout aspect of our visit. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a pleasant and relaxed vibe. The restaurant had a charming decor that added to the overall dining experience. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot for a date night or a place to hang out with friends, Cadillac Pizza Pub fits the bill.
Based on my first visit, I can confidently say that I will be returning to Cadillac Pizza Pub. The combination of outstanding service, delectable pizza, and pleasant atmosphere make it a standout choice in McKinney. I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. Without a doubt, Cadillac Pizza Pub deserves a well-deserved...
Read moreSuper rude hostesses who act like it’s a burden you are there. Stopped by around 9:30pm on a Saturday night for a party of 2. The bar was full and we were told it would be at least an hour to get a table. No problem, we got on the waiting list and went to the Yard for a drink. About 30 mins later I got a text that our table was ready and to proceed to the hostess stand. Awesome! When we arrived they said it was for an outdoor spot, but having been out in the sun all day, really didn’t want to sit out with the heat and misters and we wanted to see the live band. After some eye rolling we were told we could try the bar again or just continue to wait. Bar was still full, but we were ok with waiting, looked like some people were maybe finishing up. It was 10pm. We sat waiting listening to the band and about 20 mins later a large group left and we thought great, we will get seated. About 5 mins went by and we were told by the hostess that the kitchen closed in 30 mins and there were 2 barstools at the corner of the bar by a post where we could sit. We went over as instructed and saw there were the 2 tables together with six chairs empty. We then asked could we not just split the table apart and sit there? Again, with eye rolling and attitude we were told yeah I guess you can sit there. Very disappointing!! Our server was great and our pizza came out quick and fresh. Pizza was delicious and we continued to enjoy the live music. We were done and on our way by 11pm. Sad that the hostess experience left a bad taste for us! A little customer service goes a long way! Shouldn’t feel like my patronage...
