UPDATE: I stopped by after work to return the incorrect sandwich since they wouldn't do anything over the phone and the owner acted like a donkey. She said it was sad I complained over an incorrect sandwich, that was a mistake, and asked for my money back. That is completely unprofessional. When I told her this has happened more than once or twice she raised her voice. I never once raised my voice or said anything rude. With a smile on my face, I calmy asked for my money back. This woman is a joke. It's a shame a business owner won't address a customer concern. If I had a customer tell me that their orders were wrong more than they were right, I would take that concern seriously. This woman also is a flat out liar. Just look at how she responds to anyone that shares their bad experience. Very immature. And my day has been great, I had a beautiful walk through Downtown McKinney. Only bad part of my day was dealing with the witch of an owner at your restaurant. Bless your heart.
I wish this place would get it together on making orders correctly. I order 1-3 sandwiches weekly "to go" and at least once a month we get a completely different sandwich. None of the sandwiches are special orders, we're just simply ordering off the menu.
Today I called because the Poblano sandwich I expected to open ended up being turkey. I'm on my lunch break, so I can't just "run" back to Downtown Mckinney.
The young woman that answered was rude, wouldn't let me complete my sentence, and said there was nothing she could do about it unless I came back. She wouldn't event get a manager on the phone.
After I get off work I am going to return this uneaten sandwich and get my money back, since this is how they treat costumers and I'll go to Hugs cafe from now on. At Hugs the staff is...
Read moreThis place is AMAZING!!! It's worth your time to stop here. This boutique is top notch from the top to the bottom. I've never had a bad food item here. The butternut squash sandwich is my favorite. This last time I went I shared it with a friend and they gave us each a cookie. Saying that they didn't want us fighting over who gets it. They are generous and think about the customer! It's a definite feel good place. They have a vegan sandwich that is not on the menu. Just ask for it. They even give a vegan cookie with it. The food is provided by local farmers and they have a list of them there. A true farm to market......market!! They have a very unique market that reflects the absolute charm of the store. The owner has the gifts of decorating and hospitality and many more. More than one person should have! The stores that exceptional!! There's a very peaceful atmosphere there. You'll see people alone, in groups, on the patio with their dogs and it all harmonizes and works. Even the bathroom is beautifully done. I want to imitate it for my home. The hours are limited but kudos to them for remaining true to what's important to them and being successful. A perfect balance. Go experience this blessing and gem for yourself. You won't...
Read moreMy first visit was yesterday. Upon walking in, I couldn’t figure out how to order food, there were no menus anywhere. I saw one case that had some drinks and some sides and then there was one case that had premade sandwiches. I noticed that people were receiving orders, names were being called to pick up your order. So I asked the girl at the order desk if there was food to order or if I had to pick a sandwich from the case and she said pick a sandwich from the case. So then I ask her if I could have a sandwich made without bread, I’m gluten-free. She told me no the lady back in the prep kitchen told me there were salads at the end and to go get a salad. There was one salad option a small Caesar, but unfortunately, I have an egg allergy too. It was a bit frustrating and I don’t understand why they wouldn’t make me a sandwich without bread. So my entire lunch was potato salad. I don’t ever expect places to accommodate my food needs, but when I see them making custom orders and then they refuse to make me one, or don’t offer me a menu, that is super frustrating. I won’t...
