If I could give a zero star, I would. I visited a Dillard's store in St.Louis, MO at the South County location on 5/12/16, at around 4pm. After this experience I will never shop at a Dillard's store again. I was in the lingerie dept looking for a specific low back shapewearer. I looked around for awhile, waiting for Lisa the sales associate to greet although she made eye contact with me. Mind you, there was not one else in the section. Finally I just ask her and she responded with, "Oh we don't have that here." I preceded to look around for a possible substitution as she watched me and at one point told me, "That is not a low back." Instead of providing me with other options, she seemed annoyed that I was in the department. I left to another section to look around and later came back to back one of the mannequins in the lingerie dept had a blazer on that I liked. When I came back, Lisa's response was,"Oh, you're back." I asked her where the rack for the blazer was and she told me "over there", pointing to a nonspecific section of the ladies' dept. I wasn't sure where to begin looking, so I asked her if she could show we. Again, she seemed annoyed that I was asking her to do her job and walked me over. Once we got to the rack there were only two size available and I needed a small. I told her I would like the small and if she could take it off the mannequin and she told me the one on the mannequin was an XS. The blazer on the mannequin had previously caught my eye and I looked at it knowing for a fact that it was a size small and told her I wanted to try it on anyways. Lisa rolled her eyes and walked ahead of me towards the mannequin. By that point I was baffled by her attitude as a sale associate and asked her if that was going to be a big deal. As she walked away, she responded with an attitude, "No it is fine." In the end, I purchased the blazer, without a thank you from her. In hindsight I should have not spent money at a store that lacked a tremendous amount of customer service. I used to work in retail for about 5 years and understand what good quality customer care is. Lisa is a great example of what a lazy and an inappropriate employee would be like.    Read moreI had a Nygard top I was trying to return with receipt and tags still attached but it had been purchased right before Covid hit. I had come a couple of days before but it was close to closing and the pop label was showing not found. I didn't want the sales clerk to have to deal with that at closing so I just said I would come back she couldn't figure out what the problem was. When I returned a different sales clerk scanned it and determined that the reason the pop label wasn't being recognized was because it was over 90 days old and they age out of the system. I said well covid happened and they had been closed. I wasn't expecting a refund but surely a store credit. She proceeded to tell me that because of that it wasn't eligible for return and that they have been open. At that point I was real through with her so I told her that's okay I know what to do with it, customer service will take care of me, since I wasn't getting very much customer service from her. This is a difficult task since sheâs had surgery on both of her feet and itâs a struggle to find nice dress shoes that donât hurt her feet. Well a woman named Janice was working that night and let me just say WOW. Iâve never had anyone try so hard to help my mom find the perfect shoe that she could be comfortable in. Mom had tried on at least a dozen pair with no real luck and just when we were about to leave, Janice comes out with a pair of beautiful shoes that werenât out on display and were the EXACT thing my mom had been looking for for months!
