Geek Squad, Menifee, CA inside Best Buy There are no words to express how frustrating the Geek Squad is if you pick up your computer and it doesn’t work as promised. When I dropped it off they told me for $200 they would take a look and repair it- adding if I had any problems to give them a call. I picked up the computer after they had it 4 days. “You should be all good, if you have any questions or problems give us a call. I got it home and could not even log in. I called the number and got a machine that said that Best Buy “is not taking calls at this time”. I did get to the Geek Squad and the person I talked to was from another state. I was not able to talk to the original Geek Squad at all. I was told there was no way to talk to the Menifee Geek Squad. So they put me through to one of there techs who was not able to help me get into my computer either. They finally transferred me to Apple Help who tried a few things and could not get it to work either. With there help I restarted and put in a username and password. I cannot get my printer to work and everything is gone. I was told it would work fine when I got it home. I was not told I’d have to start over like a new computer. Here’s the really frustrating part. Today I brought my computer back to Geeks and was just asked “do you have an appointment?” No I already had it in here, picked it up 2 days ago and it’s not working. I was turned away bringing my computer back home frustrated and determined to never go back. The question is - So if you have a problem once you bring it home and you call to ask why it’s not working— why can’t you talk to the person who just talked to you. And your policy is to have a person who has a problem, after it’s supposed to be fixed- needs to make an appointment for another day and come back. Plus I would not even be able to call and make an appointment because they don’t take calls!?! Geeks needs better customer support. I would have given them .0001 stars if possible. I will still shop at Best Buy but will NEVER go back...

My wife came to make a return on my behalf during her lunch hour. She stood in line for 15 minutes. The young woman behind the counter was helping a middle aged man.
During that 15 minutes, she did not acknowledge my wife, did not call for additional help, completely ignored my wife until such time as my wife got out of line and left. Even then she did not acknowledge her existence.
Whomever the person (employee is) wouldn’t even be able to keep a job in fast food. Very disappointing. Certainly will affect our future purchases from the brick and mortar stores. With online purchases, you just have to ship stuff back. No chance to be ignored.

Just to send it out, check out my battery and replace it took over a week and a half. When I called to pick it up on 06/23/2016 they said they quoted me up to 5 weeks and can take all the time they wanted after it was already delivered back to the store just to make sure it turns on. So I scheduled an appointment to pick up the same day but they didn't even have it ready. They said they still had to test it out and that took about 20 minutes alone.
