Red Robin serves premium burgers, among other choices, if the price is any indication. Some burgers close to $17? Now burgers can be expensive in some establishments, but for some consumers, dividing the order in two might prove a smart move, for they are rather big. Dictating prices is part of the game and Red Robin is not alone in their premium approach. Enjoying the company of two lovely ladies, both seniors, and yours truly, these selections were ordered: Fish Sandwich with unlimited fries, $10? Big deep fried pieces of fish, that simply put, made the grade. Was cut in two and shared by the two hearty appetite ladies, with visible expressions of satisfaction. I stole a little piece, so I wouldnāt be left in the dark, and found the fish well fried and acceptable. Fries were nicely hot and crispy, bun a tad better than average. 4 Stars. Fish and Chips and all the fries one could eat, $14? Big pieces and piping hot/crispy fries. Plate was shared by my two savvy companions, but lesser amount of fried fish for one, and I, once again, fast and in a stealthy move, ate a bite. Same fish, by the way, as the one in the above sandwich. Came with a small serve of cole slaw, and tartar sauce. 4 Stars. At this stage one may ask: he talks about how expensive the burgers are, but none ordered? Onion Soup, $6? Very small serving, and that is supposed to be the larger of the two? Boiling hot to their credit, but the actual quality of a true french onion was not there. Edible, for sure, but not great to me. 3 Stars. Grilled Salmon with unlimited Broccoli, close to $14. Veggies al dente, salmón about 5oz and tasty. A little too uneventful compared to the grandiose burger offerings, but hey! it was the start of the new year, so what is a person to do but select a wholesome dish, instead of a juicy half pounder! New Year resolutions, and all that good stuff! Broccoli š„¦ got a little tiring fast, but as I mentioned, nicely presented. 4 Stars. Water had no after taste. Service so so, long periods of in between, which deducted points and percentage in gratuity, but please know that at least 15% was dispensed. 4 Stars. Place was crowded at around 3 PM, so they have their customers. Will we return? The only way would be to try their burgers, since apparently is their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeāve been coming here for years. This last time I have noticed a shift. First our server right away was Miss grumpy pants , I get they deal with a lot of mean people but Iām not one of them so she didnāt need to be rude to me and my family off the jump. Next took her forever to bring our drinks, she brought my husbands beer and was like oh yea and your guys drinks , very weird. Then as I expected our appetizers came out and five mins later our food. She hardly came to our table, not once asked if we needed drink refills . My husbandās beer had something floating in the bottom of it so we sent it back. Our food was good so my rating is for the food. Once we got our food our waitress was no where to be found. We noticed they tend to avoid serving more fries despite red robbins whole thing is bottomless sides. We Finaly got her attention and my husband said we like more fries please. She took forever to bring out a serving of fries. My husband by then had enough and said no we all got meals isnāt it bottomless fries ? She then got snappy (mind you weāve been Patient with her this whole time ) she said all sides are bottomless , so my husband said okay so we all got meals I want fries for each of us , she snapped out of her attitude really quick once she saw my husband was sick of her crap. She then said oo okay ! Went back and brought two serving of fries in two mins , weird the first serving took her forever to bring. Even thou she was rude my husband still tipped her graciously . Also this location is very run down and needs a makeover, the blinds are so gross and cover with sauce and food splatter all crusty , walls by the booth were crusty and sticky . The menus were gross. Guess all the Covid practices are out the window lol next time we will try the Temecula location hopefully they wonāt be stingy with their bottomless fries...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience tonight really showed how I should never order from this restaurant ever again. Order was late. I was left waiting over 30 mins past the time that was promised. Mind you, I ordered my food (2 items) 30 mins prior to getting out of work. As I went to the front desk/curbside hostess. I asked her to cancel my order. As I said that, a waitress finally came out with my order. She just handed it to me and started to walk away. I told her that I was just telling the other woman I was going to cancel the order. The waitress then said to me. "Your order has been back there for a while. It got pushed to the side at first, then forgotten". I told her that I would like to check the food. She said ok. I did check it and it was colder than room temperature. She said that she could take it back and have them warm it up..... At that point, I was extremely upset. I said never mind. And took the spoiled food to my car. I work 12 plus hours a day. And just didn't have anymore patience for this restaurant. Another thing that upset me was that no one checked my ID. I purchased a bottle of wine with my order. So, in turn, anyone could purchase adult beverages to go, no questions asked. Red Robin is the place to go for underaged drinking. Not my cup of tea. No regulations, no standards. Honestly? Not sure if this post is going to go anywhere but, Thanks for the experience! Won't be...
