T.J. Maxx — Local services in Menifee

Negative 5 stars is what this store deserves. You can't possibly find such a negative shopping experience from any other store but this one. I've had better experiences at dollar tree. You can tell that the problem stems from the manager, because either the people that were hired were already rude people, chosen by the manager, or they were nice people who were trained to be rude...extremely rude. I shop all over so-cal, and God forbid you shopped at another store that got an item that this store didn't. Whoever is the manager came over and peeled the tag off, destroying it, so now how am I supposed to return it to the store that had the item? And it wasn't a cheap item. I was returning "seasonal" stuff and she was trying anything she could do NOT to accept my returns. Discrimination is also a problem here, you can watch how people that look a certain way get treated, and the employees are all the same as well. Don't wear any political things here, cus you will get treated a certain way based on that. It's truly low, disgusting, unethical and inhumane. After reading previous reviews, I can 100% verify their experiences. I've even asked for a paper measuring tape before and was told with a smirk that they didn't have any, they didn't even look, and I found it myself. And when the lines are long, too bad. Go somewhere else, cus this store hates their customers. This store used to be really good for finding great things...but now your lucky if you find something good. I mainly shop in the back home/kitchen, beauty, and dog section...and the inventory sucks. They must purposely stock it for the area, because I've been to many other areas with stuff that makes you excited. Go...

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is the worst of all the TJ Maxx's I have been too and I truly love Marshalls and TJ. I bought my sister a birthday present the day before yesterday in the jewelry dept. She didn't like it (I did) so I returned it yesterday. The girl behind the counter treated me as if I was a thief and a scammer. She asked me if I removed the bail, NO I didn't, she then spent 15 minutes checking to see if the chain was real gold all the while shaking her head as if it wasn't. Finally, she refunded my money. I then went to the front registers to return a shirt that had a hole in it. I didn't notice it when I tried it on. The girl who waited on me asked me if I put the hole there! OMG, I work at Lowe's the hotbed of stealing, and I would never be allowed to treat even a thief that way. Don't even get me started on how dirty and filthy this TJ is. It's gross. I will stay far away from it....

The worst store ever! The manager Carolyn is nasty with an intolerant attitude! I bought items online. NOT AT ALL AS DESCRIBED! Paid $&0.00 for a necklace I would have NEVER purchased if I saw in person. Fist she said I switched necklaces! Had to to go my online order for proof. Then she had the NERVE to say I’m only entitled to a gift card! Who does that!!?? Receipt and all! So now I have to come up with the $$ to pay pay my credit card. Please shoot at another TJ Maxx! I will not be shopping there because of the nasty manager! Please boycott with me! Cheap stuff and way over priced! Again the manager is Carolyn. Do not deal with her as she will do as she pleases and has no problem accusing you of theft and wrong item returns. I got her supervisors number and will be taking my issue up with her. Thanks...
