Wife went to the store and Mateo told her she needed to be added to my account, we needed to call the 800# to add her, i told her im online adding her right now i happened to be on wifes speaker phone and he proceeded to tell her you cant do it that way you have to call, Mateo giving her attitude all the time, well i did do it that way and she was added. As the next person at the store went to help her named Isabel looked it up and confirmed it but then proceeded to tell my wife she couldn't take the boxes back unless our account was closed out, in all actuality i was on the phone this morning re arranging our account as cable is getting outrageous $300 a month for internet and cable is just too much the boxes cost $10.00 each per month so the lady that helped me on phone at customer service told me we didn't need the boxes we could download the app on our tv and use our spectrum that way which is what we were doing. If your going to train your people in the stores to tell customers they have to close there account instead of teaching them all the features you have and plans they can change there account to to help save money then close your stores. These people were both EXTREMELY rude and acted like we were murdering someone to return the boxes, we have been a 20 year customer with spectrum at home and my business, when we lived in Rancho, ontario, and now menifee area, we have taken items and replaced or returned them at the Grape st store and in Rancho and never had any issue at all. Im also a stock holder of spectrum holdings this is all making me re think if i even want to keep what i have with spectrum at this point im sure Frontier would like my long term business..... Not only was she completely unhelpful but rude as well. I don't know how this store could possibly hire and keep such a terrible representative. The purpose of my visit was due to an email I received from Spectrum telling me that I could drop into any Spectrum store to pick up my new phone. Annabelle was so unhelpful and rude to us I couldn't believe her horrible attitude, I actually thought maybe she was pulling our leg. We also asked in a polite way if she would mind throwing away my old broken phone case and she refused and said, "No, you can throw that away in the bathroom." When we asked to speak to a manager she refused and said a manager couldn't help us! Not only did I not leave with my new phone but I ended up going out to the parking lot to call Spectrum for assistance. I am really disappointed that I signed up for Spectrum now. I will never go into that store if I can avoid it. I couldn't be more annoyed with our poor service today. I have never experienced feeling like an annoyance, a waste of time & with zero interest with the task at hand. Ever! Before today . . . ! I asked a question or two and got zero response. I asked really simple questions as in, whats the difference in face size of the Galaxy watch & if the watch was actually just a Fitbit, if it monitored vital signs or do both? The response I got was I don't know I would have to look up the specs on a computer. I also asked if the band for the watch comes with a choice of different colors. I was ignored once again. I don't know if I was asking too technical type questions or what. I can't tell you who this person was because he was not wearing a name tag.
