Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Menifee

my sister and i thought we would try out this sonic today 9/23/16(we didnt have a good expierence at the one in murrieta) we arrived around 7:10-7:15 ordered a 12 peice bonless buffalo chicken combo... i would say about 10-15 minutes goes by our food has not came few more minutes goes by NOTHING everyone around us were getting their food within minutes except us ...we thought about leaving but my sister was hungry and couldnt wait anymore.. i waved down one of the workers and told them we have not gotten our food he said he would go check on it and get the manager... manager comes out apologizes and says our food will be out shortly... a worker comes and explains that they have our food but lost the receipt that goes with it and once they find it we will get our food BY THIS TIME IT WAS 7:45 ... few minutes later they found our receipt and bring out the food and she apologized and told me my total and i asked did i seriously have to pay for waiting 20-25 minutes SHE SAID YES!! i payed even though i felt like i shouldnt have for waiting for so long she came back with my reciept and gave me a token for a free cherry limeade LIKE REALLY!! BTW MY FOOD WAS COLD AND I DID NOT GET THE RIGHT DRINK I ORDERED..manager came back apologized again and said she doesnt know how the reciept got lost or what had happened... i really would have liked to get my meal for free like other fast food resturants do if the wait is longer than 10 minutes or if they mess a order up... i thought by trying it out this sonic would be different since we have never been but I WAS WRONG i will not be returning here EVER AGAIN!!!! worst...

This location is horrible. I will not be returning. I have ordered twice from them through door dash & both times, Sonic staff forgot things. 1st time, I ordered the bacon cheese burger & they FORGOT THE BACON. 2nd time, they didn't give me my order of mozzarella sticks (but they charged me for them). At the time I didn't know that my door dash driver could go back & get it for me...so I got up & drove down to Sonic (I was injured at the time) to have them fix things. When I pulled into the lot, 2 employees on skates were RACING through the parking lot & I had to slam on my breaks because they sped out directly infront of my car. I make it to the drive through, tell them the situation & they were totally unapologetic. An employee brings out my missing food & I asked her if there was anyway to rectify this situation because I pretty much paid the delivery fee for no reason, had to leave my house injured, & it was my 7 year old's food that was missing so she was pretty upset. The employee pretty much shrugged & told me that there was nothing they could do about it. They told me to file a complaint with door dash & that door dash could give me my money back. Why should door dash have to take a loss because this location is incompetent?? As a business, when an upset, paying customer shows up to have you fix wrongs done by the business, I would think they would handle with a little more care bare minimum. So I won't be returning & I highly suggest you...

I don't know if every city has a sonic like our city and surrounding cities but everyone knows around here that if u get in the drive thru line at any sonic in the Riverside California county you are going to be waiting for so long you might miss anything else you have planned. I do not understand why it would take 27 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of you but it does. I've seen many cars leave that refused to wait any longer. It couldn't be for their food, (which is the worst tasting food anywhere by the way). I think I know what it is, THE SLUSHES AND SHAKES ARE SO GOOD MAKE YOU WANA ROB YOUR GREAT GRANDMA FOR ONE. In my opinion the place stays open because they offer the biggest variety of milkshakes and slushes around!! They put Dairy Queen to shame! Plus if you order on their app you get all slashes or shakes half price, at any time of the day! EVERY DAY! I always order the same, a medium blue raspberry float with strawberries on top. This was first introduced as the " red, white, and blue float" 2 years back on the 4th of July, even though it's no longer a menu item I still order it . It's my favorite. Love this place not for food. But 100%...
