Came to this place early in the morning, I’m not a regular customer but I worry about what other people have been consuming from here seeing as I got big and small pieces of broken black plastic in a açaí bowl I had picked up for my pregnant wife. Normally I get a sandwich to share with my wife but today my love wanted to try something different and now she’s regretting ever trying. She told me there was a bunch of hard stuff in the bowl, thinking it was berries or seeds, but after I inspected the bowl further digging with the spoon provided by the restaurant I my jaw dropped in horror to uncover that this was not seeds or pieces of wood. To further confirm this in the picture there is a sticker still attached to the plastic. I hope no one comes here and poisons them self with this trash, and who knows what else they’ve been putting in our food. I hope this place shuts down or gets a bad review from a health inspector. I will no longer be going to this location and I hope you all do the same for the sake and health of our family...

Although the manager and another server were right in front of me at the back counter, they ignored me for a good 5 minutes, The girl who was busy making drinks, said “someone will be with you soon”. Another customer came in behind me and one of the 2 that had ignored me said, we will be right with you, then carried on ignoring me and the other customer. Eventually the girl who had been making drinks, came over and served me, I asked can I speak to the manager, she said yes, I was shocked that one of ghe 2 that had been ignoring us was the manager. She came over and after I explained that I’d been ignored and been waiting about 8 minutes. Just for someone to take my order. The manager said oh I’m sorry for any inconvenience I was training the other server. I asked her “couldn’t that training have waited rather than have 2 customers waiting so long”. Hit or miss.
Depending on who is on staff they can either care about your order or not care at all. I’ve had over 15 orders with them and about half of those orders either missed something I payed extra for or was the completely wrong drink.
I watched a worker belittle her coworker for mishearing my order and getting it wrong. Not ok to embarrass your coworkers like that.
Some employees will be very receptive and nice, others will be dismissive and rude. When they’re good they’re good, but when they’re bad they’re bad. Not very consistent in customer service.
Food is very good, however one time I got extremely sour Greek yogurt but they gave me a good item in replace of it which was very nice. I will say their matcha is better than what you can get from Starbucks, but if you get extra whipped cream make sure you check before you leave, they will either cheat you out or not...
