Mentor Mall Village — Local services in Mentor

The company I work for payed rent for us as we got transferred from NYC the area supervisor in Ohio took care of all the paper work .we left our dog with my brother back home and when he came to visit he brung him to visit us as well my brother stayed in a hotel nearby and brung him over in the day to spend time with us too we got blamed for having a dog liveing in the apartment so we decided to just move to a house with a yard and went to pick him up in NYC the other co workers stayed in the apartment so about 2 weeks after we moved and the whole dog situation happened we get told by one of our coworkers that the property manager changed the locks but failed to even give a notice so basically a self help eviction which is illegal in Ohio all because someone else in the building owns a dog and pooped in the hall way was the excuse and because they weren't on the lease when she should of took that up with the area supervisor in the first place I don't know if it was because the dog the lease or she just doesn't like foreign people but also she demands the rent And her demands be met but fails to meet the tenants demands when something needs to be fixed like we went about 3 months with a leaking sink and toilet when it was informed to her 3 times that it was leaking she says she didn't remember but she sure does remember when we took her the money orders for the rent we got a very nice welcome to Ohio from Mentor Ohio Village apartments (like I said the supervisor took care of paper work for the apartment)

UPDATE went in today to get the rest of the things we had inside and showed her my lease to my new house and to tell her I didnt live there any more and she tried to hit me so police was called they took our side of course becuase changeling locks with out a notice is illegal in Ohio ....... definitely don't even bother with this crazy woman or her apartments not even worth $700 I pay $650 for a full house with a yard just keep...

I currently live in the apartment and I have experienced so much horror since I have lived here. Beehives and wasp hives live in the gutters and roof-tops. my home has been invaded too many times as much as me having to kill at least four to five insects per day. I am afraid of the bees and wasp coming through the windows while the windows are closed meaning that the windows and patio doors are not sealed. Also the apartment building is infested with mice going from one apartment to the next. the building needs to get an exterminator they won't . this building is also infested with Bats and birds coming into the apartments because the gutters are not cleaned and these habitants are building nest. the area around the building is not clean, filthy. not a safe place to live especially if you have children or grandchildren. From me spraying chemicals to kill the insects and setting rat traps to kill the rodents my lung disease has gotten worse. I am so ready to move, I am not a fan of this apartment life here at Mentor...

Lorriane the complex manager is terrible to work with. She only cares about making money and not actually helping tenants when something comes up. When you put in a complaint about neighbors or anything in general she makes excuses and does nothing to fix the situation. In the spring and summer you can expect insects in your apartment from earwigs to bees to wasps ants. You literally have to beg her to have someone come out and spray. Windows are not insulated and leak water. No dishwasher. It is a very unsafe place. Very little lighting and no security cameras. Have people from the mall walking around the back fence cutting through. So if you have kids you cant just let them play outside. Cameras were promised to be put in and never happened. Laundry is very expensive. The rent is outrageous for what the apartment is. AC unit does nothing in the summer time and there is no AC window unit upstairs. All in all this is a terribly managed facility and I will not recommend this to anyone. If i could give this zero...
