This is by far the worst experience I ever had at any Pandora, however the Mentor location is my most visited. I walked in on a Monday 2 days before Xmas there were 2 associates visible and no other customers. One associate welcomed and asked can she help me. I said I need my necklace cleaned and I was looking for a charm to go on it. Explaining what kind of charm she start looking. I set my eyes on one although I may have been all over the place because I have a large number of Pandora items trying not to rebuy. I pull my necklace out I see there’s a knot in it. I asked for her assistance with the knot she says she’s not good with knots and directed me to a jeweler at a kiosk in the mall to assist me. I then started to try to unravel it myself and asked for her assistance again. She puts the charms away and heads to the back then comes back with tweezers. All with a sense of frustration on her face. She attempts to get the knot out with the tweezers I ask can I help she hands it to me and I successfully get the knot out. I then went back to the charms chose one and she proceeded to start ringing me out. I said can you clean my necklace before I put the charm on it. She then states we don’t clean around the holidays you can purchase a cleaning kit for $20. I so often visit Pandora and purchase things I take the opportunity to get all my jewelry cleaned when I do so. And like I said when I walked in I stated I needed it cleaned and she said nothing about not cleaning until it was time for checkout. Without any rebuttal I just walked out. This entire experience turned me off from Pandora. I have decided to start collecting and wearing other brands of jewelry as Pandora is a little expensive not worth anything beyond purchase, easily broken and lost. I have spent a significant amount of money with this company over the years to not receive any real satisfaction in it except to have jewelry pieces that are popular. And I’ve also lost a significant amount of jewelry by way of it slipping off without no knowledge or pieces being broken. But Again this was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered with any Pandora store. And again as it being the holidays this location at this time was nowhere near busy as you...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at the Pandora at Great Lakes Mall. The 2 reps working on Thursday May 10th never even greeted the customers walking through the door. I needed to exchange a ring for Mother’s Day so I’m assuming because I already had a bag in hand neither sales person wanted to help. I had one of the worst customer experiences with Amy. She informed me the store did not carry the size I needed. I asked if I could return it. She said because the ring was purchased at an out of state location that it was the “policy” that they couldn’t return-only exchange. I asked several times where this policy is listed. She never answered my question simply kept repeating “it’s store policy.” Amy did not offer to help find a location that did have it. I ended up calling the Beachwood location and they had the ring. A 5 minute phone call would have changed my entire experience. I would never shop this location or recommend it to anyone. The sales staff should...
Read moreMy husband made a trip there yesturday to buy a new piece for my birthday. After he described his experience in this store I don't even want the necklace. He was treated with absolute disrespect for NO REASON. A poor attitude and there were comments about the size of the charm he selected being too small? If the employee thought that would make an up-sale then they need retrained in customer service. The reality here is this jewlery is one step above Wal-Mart, gives men and kids something of decent quality to give women for special occasions, nothing more, nothing less. Treat people better, you wouldn't have a job if they weren't buying...
