I stopped into Marshalls, there were a good amount of shoppers there. My attention was drawn to a particular associate who was putting out racks of clothes, straightening, I finally caught up to her while she was working on taking socks out of a large bin on wheels and putting them on the wall. I said 'hello' and asked her name. She said, (I pray I get this right) Ruth. Or Ruby. I am so sorry I am not 100% sure. But I am 100% sure that this lady was a super worker. She moved around among the shoppers almost unnoticed.A rack of clothing came out with her-the empty rack was going back with her. She was so focused on her work and had accomplished so much in the time I was there I just had to go up to her and tell her how amazed I was at how quickly she knew where to put the merchandise away. She is an asset to Marshalls and is part of the team that make that store so enjoyable to shop at. The store is neat and organized and all workers are helpful and friendly. And working so focused is Ruth. The world needs more people like her. People taking pride in a job well...
Read moreMarshalls in Mequon has both good and bad qualities, but overall it's a decent place to shop. First impression when I walk into the store, and as I attempt to shop, is how there's barely any space between rows of clothing. One person can barely squeeze by another one (which makes all concerned irritated). Add a cart to the equation and it becomes impossible. Second con is there is a very limited selection of plus size clothing for women. Beyond that, I have only positive feedback. Outside of plus sizes, there is a very large selection of clothes... everything from shoes, PJs and under garments, to athletic to more dressy. There's a nice array of miscellaneous home goods, which includes a few rugs and pieces of furniture. Prices are pretty good, and there are always things on clearance. Staff have always been pleasant and helpful. All in all a good place to find decent merchandise at a fair price. But the over crowding of rows of clothes is bothersome enough for me to only give it 3.5,...
Read moreI like everything about this marshals, except for the make up department, which is why I like to go there. All of the cosmetics pretty much except for Ellen Tracy and drugstore items are under lock and key, and an employee has to sit there with you while you look through everything. I get that they are trying to prevent theft- trust me I GET it- I used to work at Ulta. The items in the lock box didn’t have the label facing out so you couldn’t see the price of everything so you really do have to go through and look a lot through all of the stacks. I swear I could have spent an hour there looking through all of the makeup but because someone has to be standing there I felt very rushed. They really need to come up with a better plan such as security tags...
