I'm an intermediate computer gaming nerd that's usually self sufficient and can help others with basic problems, installs, and builds...usually too vein to ask for help from a store.
BUT! I found myself in a pickle after swapping my current PC to a bigger and better case. After 10hrs of reading forums and running different tests and diagnostics I could not come to the decision if I needed a new GPU or PSU. The computer performed fine, until it was under gaming stress and it would crash to restart. I was banking on a power supply failure but didn't want to waste much more time or ANY money so I threw in the towel and Mike came to the rescue.
I called Mike on my lunch break at 11am, brought the pc in by 3pm and told him what I figured was going on, paid the diagnostic fee, and by about 4:45pm I got a call the same day that he had the answer and it was ready for pick-up. The problem was indeed the PSU. Since I wanted the project done I grabbed one of their PSU's which was actually with-in 3 dollars of web pricing! Their selection was minimal but they had what I needed including reputable brands. So I brought said PSU home and had my pc firing on all cylinders with-in the same hour!
On an elongated review note, MKE PC Redeemed themselves on this one from about 8yrs ago when one of my novice builds got pretty messed up with a revamp through their store. I had the same length review but it was incredibly negative and has now been deleted. I told this to Mike and he personally thanked me for trusting them again. With this encounter if I need help again I'd be back in a heart beat and would reccommend them to anyone who needs help....

Huge difference with Steve - previous store manager. Reading the latest customers' reviews, I thought that Mike is getting now more knowledge in PCs and more experience in dealing properly with the customers. I retired now, but used to work as an Electronic Engineer all my life. I recently had a weird problem with my laptop that I couldn't resolve myself (Thunderbird mail Error), so I'd like to come over to the closest Mequon MPC store in order to get a friendly advice or professional consultation. OK, I did come over to Mequon store and came back in 10 minutes "empty handed". Sorry, I was so wrong with my hopes - Mike told me that he couldn't resolve that kind of problem, even if I leave my laptop in the store for several days. I knew that my laptop's problem was caused by a wrong Thunderbird setup, but I couldn't see exact issue. Couple days later I decided to go to a different (Menomonee Falls ) MPC store with the same laptop and the same problem, hoping to get friendly technical consultation from a real PRO. My experience there was EXCELLENT. The problem was resolved in less than 15 minutes, I knew that I just needed another pair of eyes to get a quick look.
