South Moon Under — Local services in Merrifield

I love South Moon Under. I am from the Ocean City/Bethany Beach area originally so have grown up going to South Moon Under stores. I recently moved to the DC area and have been to a few of the stores around here. Literally almost every purchase I make is from South Moon Under. I came in last week and was helped by Kate in the Falls Church/Mosaic store. Kate was absolutely great. She wasn't pushy at all which sometimes Sales Associates can be, she was super helpful and really helped me pick out a great outfit for an event I have next week. I just thought that she deserves an applause because she really went above and beyond to help me and even got something shipped to me at home because the store didn't have the right size....

It was a horrible experience. I guess if you don't like people you shouldn't work on these places. sometimes when Customer Services is great you don't care about prices, but when somebody is so disrespectful plus you have to pay overprice products is really disappointing. I've been in diefernt locations and always the experience was good yet, this place in Mosaic it is terrible. I know Mosaic is fun but run away of this store, GO TO BLOOMIE'S. THE PRICES ARE SIMILAR, BUT THE EXPERIENCE IS AMAZING. YOU CAN REALLY FEEL VERY WELCOME, PRODUCTS ARE AMAZING, AND YOU CAN GO EVEN WITH YOUR DOG, and you will avoid to see nasty faces and...

There’s absolutely no sense of customer service here. I’ve walked in twice now — once with my boyfriend and again today with my little sister (her first time), and not once have we been acknowledged.

The sales associate on the floor had a nasty attitude and looked completely uninterested in doing her job. If she’s that miserable, maybe retail isn’t for her.

The clothes are cute and I have had thoughts of purchasing some dresses — but there’s no reason for me to spend money somewhere I’m clearly not welcome. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Plenty of other retail stores in Mosaic!
