This was my first time trying this studio because Pame (an instructor of fuze) recommended me her class and I was so excited to try it out. Unfortunately I couldnât make it on time as I was between 10 min/13 min late and I was ok with not entering the class or getting a refund, I genuinely didnât mind.
I never feel I want to leave bad reviews to businesses however the way how I was treated when I got to the studio was highly disrespectful and not acceptable by the staff who were working there (I donât know if they were part of the management or front desks) but the customer service of the two women there was very poor. They were almost making fun of me for being my first time and going to her class as they were saying her class is hard, one of them laugh sarcastically while both were continually discouraging me to even wanting to come back. I just stood there while listening to them and all I said back was âokâ and I gracefully left. They even ask me to reschedule to make sure I was coming back but honestly I felt so disrespected I did not want to be there any longer. You should never treat a potential customer with this kind of attitude.
I only went because I wanted to support Pamela and because I feel she is a great instructor, it is also very convenient because I am a local and my apartment is close to it and in my opinion the establishment looks beautiful by the pictures so I was hyped to be there my first time. I donât think I will want to be back. I will visit Pame at the other studio. Please try to correct this in your employees, it is probably not a good thing for your business or...
Read moreThe worst hot Pilates class Iâve experienced. I have a background in gymnastics and do hot yoga and mat Pilates multiple times a week. The instructor started class before everyone who was on time could get back from the locker room and they also let people in late which was disruptive.
My main concern was the lack of cueing for core support during class. The instructor didnât cue a single time to engage your core, much less to protect the spine during floor exercises with your back flat to the ground and a rib to hip connection. I was so appalled I looked around during class to count the number of attendees unknowingly performing core exercises with an arched spine, making themselves prone to injury. The class is advertised as âslow and controlledâ but is far from it.
I attended with friends and we reached out directly to the Fuze team to address our concerns about the improper instruction and danger of performing Pilates in such a haphazard way. They refused to acknowledge the concern for the lack of cueing core properly and refused a refund âsince no one got hurtâ.
Itâs a shame that this is the only experience some guests have with Pilates and they think they are bettering themselves. Save...
Read moreStumbled on this cute little studio when I was recently in town to visit a relative â and all I can say is WOW! Everything about this gem of a place is considered and calm and cozy â and the classes are super challenging in the most perfect way!! The infrared heat is set at the PERFECT temperature, and all of the instructors are fabulous - most of the classes I took were taught by Pamela who was AMAZING - full of spirit and motivation and professionalism and just all around good vibes. I was not having the easiest time in Florida but it almost was as though Fuze became my little home away from home - that is, it wasnât raining outside, but it felt like shelter from the storm!! (And I wanted to go everyday I was there but my remote job occasionally got in the wayđĽ˛) Anyway, I loved all the equipment, the intimate class size, the variety of classes too - Now I am back in NYC but missing Fuze!! (When was the last time you heard someone say they were âmissingâ an exercise studio in another city?đ) Anyway, thank you for everything â including the gold pencil and the kindness. Canât wait to...
