Edit for clarity and accuracy the AC was broken from the morning of 6/24 and was not completely fixed until the evening of 7/1. The ownerās claim that the broken AC only impacted 5 classes in total is false. Unfortunately I was physically present in the studio 3 of the days the AC was broken and had not been working all day⦠thatās a lot more than just 5 classes. Additionally, I responded to the studio manager the next day ( 7/2 ) by email and also voiced my feedback about the single week āunlimitedā changing from actually unlimited to only 7 classes to which I did not get a reply as of yet ( 7/4 ). The instructors and front desk experience have always been top notch. Iād be happy to chat or email with the new owner and studio manager about everything else.
The air conditioning has been completely broken for 8 days now!!! they donāt send any notification to clients or offer to pause memberships during this major inconvenience. No fans or any air flow at all; itās not a good dry heat either ā humid, muggy Miami summer heat. Basically like doing pilates outdoors in the middle of summer. They promised to refund me for one lesson (I have documented proof of their message), but not only did they fail to do so, the next time I attended a lesson, they asked me for an additional $10 payment for the previous sessionāeven though they were the ones who owed me money.
I was 10 minutes late to a lesson after notifying them in advance, and when I arrived, they locked the door on me. I called them, and they told me they couldnāt open the door.
