Hello I reserved this class and due to rush hour traffic I was 6 minutes late to the class. There was no one to greet me or open the locked door which I was given the access code to. I was later told it would lock after 5 minute but perhaps I was under 5 minutes because it was not locked. I walked in sat on my machine and started the work out. The instructor rudely on her open mic infront of the whole class told me I need to grab my stuff and leave because I am ouside of the 5 minute policy. When I didn’t know what policy she was referring to and confused as to what was even going on (surprised and in denial she would be addressing me on a mike with a class full of people). She then walked up to me on the machine told me to grab my stuff, left the class she was teaching, and walked me out of the room! Told me if I have a problem I can call the owner. I’m mortified and disgusted by the behavior and treatment, there are dozens of better Pilates places in Miami ....don’t go here...specially if you have to deal with Miami traffic or...
Read moreI’m so upset that I even have to write this review, as I was a paying member with solidcore. On Thursday I arrive to Julia’s class 15 mins early. There was an issue with my classpass account but I was in Solid Core’s system showing that I reserved a spot, and since I had been there multiple times before I knew i had signed the waiver in the past. Julia was extremely unprofessional by giving me attitude the entire time I was trying to fix my account and even told me “Do you not see the issue with this” and proceeded to compare me attending the class to going to the doctors office illegally. On the other hand Rosie was trying to help me resolve the issue but we had no luck. The class had a total of 2 people in it and after 20 mins of trying to resolve the issue Julia did not let me attend even though I said I could try to fix the issue afterwards. When I asked for a refund I was instructed to email corporate. I am extremely upset since this was my favorite solid core location I had ever attended, but I definitely don’t see myself...
Read moreAs I approach my 500th class, while simultaneously recovering from a torn meniscus, I have to say that Solidcore has been the best tool for recovery and strengthening. It continues to challenge me- Anyone who is a regular will agree that, it never gets easier! And at the same time, it actually is a safe way to rebuild strength when injured. I have tried various iterations of Pilates related machines, and Solidcore is hands down the most challenging and is the best for core strengthening. It relieves low back pain, because your core will become the strongest it's ever been. I actually started Solidcore after having completed approximately 380 classes taken at another studio with similar machines. I remember thinking, after my very first class with Coach Kelly M (who's one of the best) , wow, I feel like a total beginner!! And, that is when I switched studios. That's how impactful Solidcore is! Know that all of the coaches are amazing, kind, and well-trained. I've taken classes with them all, and I love them. It is well...
