I’ve been paying $300 a month for unlimited Pilates for almost two years, and I honestly don’t understand where the money is going—because the quality is just not there.
The room is tiny, with 12 reformers shoved in way too close to each other. When you’re doing any arm or leg work with the long straps, you’re literally worried about hitting the person next to you. It takes away from the workout and feels super cramped and uncomfortable.
The instructors? Most of them don’t seem properly trained. I’ve had to correct them mid-class or let them know which springs can’t be used for certain moves. If I’m paying this much, I expect instructors who know what they’re doing. Yes, everyone has to start somewhere—but where is the proper training? Why are they learning on us?
Also, let’s talk about cleanliness. The reformers reek. I’m talking full-on corn chips and onions. They hand out one wipe per person after class—two if you’re lucky—and expect that to cut it. It makes me gag before the workout even starts, and it only gets worse during. I’m all for wiping down your own machine, but why are the people who work there not doing a second round of actual sanitary cleaning?
On top of all that, some of the best instructors have left— Christina, Randy,Emma. Dani is the only one left who’s consistently great and knowledgeable. She’s literally carrying this place at this point.
For $300 a month, this studio is giving overpriced and underdelivered. The only reason I’ve stayed this long is because I love Pilates, but I’m seriously...
Read morepurchased three workout sessions at this fitness studio and had a terrible experience. Firstly, the studio was dirty with sticky and greasy surfaces on the Pilates beds. I was also forced to buy special socks at an exorbitant price, which were of terrible quality. During the workout, the mesh on the top of the socks dug into the skin between the strap and caused bleeding. When I complained, they refused to replace the socks or refund my money. I spent a week nursing the wound.
Yesterday, I decided to take another class, but to my surprise, my JETSET offer only had one workout session left out of the three I had paid for. The mobile application also didn't work properly. This was disappointing, but I noticed a "invite a friend" feature and used it.
This morning, when I arrived at the studio by car, I parked in a paid parking spot and was not allowed to enter the class because I couldn't wear my own socks and was obligated to purchase new ones. I wasted my time, my friend's time, paid for the workout, terrible socks, parking, and damaged my skin with the poor quality socks, and now they've essentially stolen another workout session from me. This is like a scam.
When I asked for a full refund, the rude administrator refused. I do not recommend this terrible place with...
Read moreI recently visited a JETSET Pilates studio and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The first thing that struck me was the low quality equipment. The machines were old, worn-out, and in dire need of maintenance. I expected a lot more from a studio that charges such high prices.
Speaking of prices, let's talk about that next. This studio charges exorbitant amounts for their services, but fails to provide any value for money. I was shocked to see the prices they were charging for the low-quality service they provided.
Another issue I faced was with the grip socks they sold at the studio. Not only were they overpriced, but they were also of such low quality that they damaged my skin. When I requested to exercise in my own socks, I was rudely told that it was not allowed. I found this to be very unfair and a clear attempt to make more money by forcing customers to purchase their own sub-par products.
Overall, I would not recommend this Pilates studio to anyone. The low-quality equipment, high prices, and unfair policies make for an unpleasant and unsatisfactory experience. Save your money and go elsewhere if you're looking for a quality JETSET...
