First, requiring a weekend camper to download an app to wash a load of laundry is obserd. I paid for 4 nights to camp aland use the ammenities and simply needed to wash one load of laundry and to do so my personal information was going to be collected by a third party company you contract with along with having to create a user name and password just for one load of laundry at 2.50. WHY. Its great you have added the ability to pay with a card. But to require what you do is obserd. County parks are going overboard in Florida. I had to dowload an app to be able to pay for parking at the beach. Yet again another app. another user name and password and sharing a cc and email and the such. You need to have a guest checkout option at least. Some county parks require an app to be able to access the shower house and use your phone to scan a device at the door to open the door requiring you to take an electronic device to a wet area. Stupid.
You are taking it too far.
Lastly, your pool was closed the days I was camping. In the heat of the summer it was closed and only open certain days of the week at that. So I did not get to enjoy it at the park I paid to stayed at... larry and penny.
Loved the campground area. Hate the apps Florida county parks are stooping too allowing third party companes access to peoples personal info along with more usernames and passwords to remember with providing emails to once again get spam or junk emails. Rediculous. Have you ever heard of Keep it simple...KIS. And thats for the customer. You are making it complicated and frustrating.
Highly disappointed in my...
Read moreI had a magnificent experience in Crandon Park yesterday, and wanted to share my story. We were relaxing on the beach, when a friendly employee named Ethan, informed us that he could bring us fresh food and libations, from Open Seas Cafe. Ethan patiently reviewed the many items available, and took our order. In less than 10 minutes, our scrumptious conch fritters, fish tacos, and pork tacos, were brought to us, right on the beach! We then walked to the water, and this amazing worker, brought our drinks to the sandbar! The food was exquisite, and the service was stellar. Ethan kept checking on us, and offering to refill our drinks when needed. We are Miami residents, but honestly felt like we were on vacation. What a glorious day we had, and we owe it all to Crandon Park, Open Seas Cafe, and Ethan. We can’t wait to return to the best spot in Key Biscayne, with the...
Read moreI dealt with the most aggressive driver I have ever experienced in my life, we should be taken off the streets and not allowed to drive ever again for Miami Dade Parks and Recreation. He almost caused multiple accidents and became more aggressive by the second. Continue to cut me off as if it was revenge and put down his window hanging half of himself out of the car to intimidate me. I had my signal on and he felt it was necessary not allowing me to merge! Please take him off the streets there is no way that he can work for Miami, Dade, Parks and Recreation, and did not respect law-abiding citizens have him understand the roads do not belong to him, and he does not own Miami Dade today is 10/9/2023 driving tag...
