I am VERY HAPPY thanks to Dr. Rhoda...I suffered a massive Heart Attack in February of this year 2020 just before the Covid plague spread throughout South Florida...So after a staying hospitalized an entire month in Mercy Hospital, I was sent home without any DIRELY needed therapy because of the danger that the Covid plague posed for a patient like me. I was warned by my cardiologists that I would need to get a pacemaker because even after having a quadruple bypass my heart wasn't pumping strong enough to keep me alive. I was suffering excruciating pain for MONTHS after the Heart Surgery but little by little after MONTHS of pain I got a little bit better but never enough to avoid getting a pacemaker. In no way could I face another painful surgery which my cardiologists insisted I must have . I just couldn't. So I decided to Go the route of acupuncture and I was blessed in finding Dr. Rhoda. From the very first session I noticed how relaxed I felt when I left her office and after three visits I had to have my last sonogram to prepare me for getting a pacemaker installed. I was TERRIFIED. I went to my appointment and guess what? The sonogram proved that my blood was flowing better from my Heart and the Doctor congratulated me for taking my medicine like I am supposed to and I was able to set off another visit with him for another six months....and the best part..NO PACEMAKER !! NO MORE SURGERIES so far !! Thank you Dr. Rhoda!! I will continue to receive treatment from her until I can get my blood flowing through my heart to where I will beat this disease. I AM SO HAPPY !! Dr. Rhoda is the best acupuncture session I've ever had – and calling it an acupuncture session isn't even fully doing it justice. It was so thoughtful, so carefully curated, and personalized in a way I had never experienced before. She fully listened and examined me at first, then put me on the table and ensured the lighting was JUST right (had a migraine) and put a weighted eye pillow over my eyes. She guided me through a breathing meditation, put a heat lamp on my feet without my even having to ask (just as they were getting cold), and then gave me a short but sweet full body massage after the acupuncture time was up to make sure my blood circulation was flowing. After that she went on to do/teach me some acupressure points, made sure I was hydrated and provided me a water bottle, and then went on to give me holistic wisdom about all facets of life, which gave me a newfound hope and confidence to believe that I WILL be healed and well again (acute migraine sufferer) – after just one day, I have been fully functioning and migraine free.
