First and foremost let me tell you guys this place is incredible, sitting in the very heart of the seybold building, this establishment has won 5 stars on my count do to the following. Professionalism they not only cater to you're needs as a clients but also carry a very respectful and thoughtful process so you as a client feel they wish nothing but the best for you while giving you the best deal they follow they're procedures and guidelines in a way that makes them seem with out any fault in anything and knowledgable of how to purchase the correct item for you're needs the staff also values a clients privacy and will ask if what you are purchasing is for a certain occasion or simply a gift, for all of you out there reading this dont qorry they wont yell out across from each other for different items or talk about you're business truly remarkable. Cleanliness is by far a huge deal when purchasing a life changing item or a small gift the staff is aware and have made this location impeccable truly, the store shines just as much as the beautiful diamonds they sell and the staff are well groomed very well dressed and not overly exaggerated with jewlery themselves truly humble people. Pricing folks let's be honest this is a building with several stores offering to give you the best deal and I'm not saying they are lying but unlike others this location helps you in choosing the right item for the right price with out any preasure and they even advise you of perhaps better methods so you can feel financialy ready for any purchase. My personal experience was that I was very lucky to be assisted by the staff here when I walked in I didnt feel ignored or like my goal was being turned away and they try and sell me what they want me to buy nope they sat me down all smiling making jokes and I was assisted by this one amazingly sweet and lovely woman alisa she not only smiled the whole time but you can tell she knew her details and knew just how important this visit was for me. I came in thinking I wouldnt find my fiances ring but thanks to her knowledge and witty insight and amazing customer service I was able to get exactly what I wanted within the my budget, there is no need to negotiate price with this location or come in with a mentality of im going to loose alot of money they will always aim to give you the best price and give you options.
Thank you to the amazing staff here thanks to all of you I was able to take the next step into what is the rest of my life with my wife so...
Read moreLiving in New York I would normally go to the diamond district to look for jewelry, but I was referred to by a friend to check this place out. I was looking for more than just any piece of jewelry, what I was looking for was an engagement ring for my now fiancé. Luckily, I was in town visiting my family and I figured I would give it a shot and check it out. Let me tell you, as soon as you walk in the energy is quite pleasant and the hospitality, I received there was quite unique. Not to bad mouth the other stores in this location but compared to the others, Buchwald was in a league of its own. Ask for Randi, not only does she make you feel welcomed, but she is quite knowledgeable as well. Her and another lady behind the counter helped me with everything. From the size, color, clarity etc and answered all questions I had while being quite patient. I had picked out the setting and the stone had it all set that same day, no rush, perfect, polished, shining and beautiful. My fiancé loved the ring as did everyone she showed it to. I normally don’t write reviews, but I was asked by Randi back in January to write one if I loved the service that was provided. Two months later a few days after proposing, I must say not only was the ring perfect, but the service was extraordinary, and Randi made it all happen so flawlessly. I will be going back to get the wedding bands when the time comes. Thank you all at Buchwald again, hope to...
Read moreMy husband and I were in the market to purchase a 3 stone diamond ring, oval cut- our last “crazy” purchase before starting a family. And we wanted to somehow incorporate some of my grandmas small diamonds from her wedding band in the setting.
After being treated poorly or feeling uncomfortable at several other jewelers, including one we’d been loyal customers at for years, we decided to try our luck at the seybold building for the first time.
Having done my research I knew I wanted our first stop to be Buchwald Jewelers, the first jeweler in the building and still family owned.
We were so fortunate to have met Joe. He didn’t prejudge us based on our young age or appearance. He was very knowledgeable and patient and took the time with us we needed to make an educated and in budget decision we couldn’t be happier with. He was respectful of my grandmas diamonds, which were more like diamond dust if we are being honest lol, but understood the value of family and heirloom pieces.
Joe was also a great communicator throughout the custom process contacting us through both phone and email to accommodate our busy work schedules and keep us updated every step of the way.
I’m now the proud owner of the ring of my dreams, and can’t wait to shop...
