I had a terrible time at this bar. After reading all the reviews and people raving about the drinks, staff and venue I was excited to check it out. I visited around 10:15pm on a Saturday. Getting inside wasn't a problem but everything to follow progressively got worse. First of all the music was deathly loud, I would rather have strapped myself to the speakers at an EDC festival. The inside is rather small and can get crowded quickly, seating is very limited (which is fine) However be prepared to stand around the bar and pray to Cthulhu that you get acknowledged or serviced. There were 2 bar staff working, a male and a female. The guy was at the far end near the entrance and the girl towards the other end of the bar near the bathroom. We were able to easily make our way to the bar and waited for well over 10 minutes to be looked at. We even tried calling out or raising our hands. We were at the far end of the bar. We had to call out to two different guys wearing black shirts and they had to apologize as they were just bar backs and that we had to speak to the girl or the guy (totally get that but how about also letting them know we are there) We were not the only ones getting frustrated as you can see people leaving from the poor service. It's incredibly disappointing the see barely legal 21 year olds literally next to us be able to order shot after shot and for us to not be able to get a drink order out. It seems the staff is more concerned with trying to be trendy and make a quick buck than be a dependable bar for locals. I understand that covid or finding staff may play into these things, however if you want to actually be attended and want quality drinks you can go to Lost Boy, The Anderson or the Sylvester which are all near by. In all, I spent 15 minutes and that was more than this...

From the moment I walked into Tipsy Flamingo, I knew I was in for a good time. The vibe is electric â stylish yet cozy, with a perfect mix of Miami flair and laid-back charm. But what really made the night unforgettable was Cristina, the bartender.
Cristina is an absolute star behind the bar. From the second I sat down, she greeted me with a huge smile and genuine warmth that made me feel like a regular, even though it was my first time there. Her energy is contagious â upbeat, attentive, and full of personality. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction.
She recommended a few drinks based on my taste and absolutely nailed it. Every cocktail she made was crafted to perfection â balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It wasnât just about mixing drinks, it was about creating an experience. She checked in regularly without being intrusive and made everyone at the bar feel seen and appreciated.
As the night picked up, Cristina kept the energy high without ever missing a beat. She handled the rush like a pro â fast, focused, and still having fun with every guest.
Tipsy Flamingo is lucky to have someone like her â sheâs the kind of bartender that turns a good night into a great one. If youâre thinking about checking this place out, donât hesitate. And if youâre lucky enough to have Cristina serving you, youâre in for a treat.
Iâll definitely be coming back â for the drinks, the music, the atmosphere⌠but most of all,...
Read moreReally strange incident a few months ago, I went in for a drink, and I saw the bartender that usually takes care of me. For some reason, she had not recognize me and asked for my ID, she continued to just take away the ID and told me it was fake, even though the blue light was showing clear signs that a fake ID would not be able to. I asked if it was possible to scan the ID, but the manager had mentioned that it was only at face value that she seemed to have "felt" the ID was fake. On top of that, if it was really a fake ID, they would've had to take it away and dispose of it themselves the bartender and the individual who seem to be the manager gave me back the ID and told me it was fake. She also threatened that she was going to call the cops, without even having a convestation. Her rudeness and animosity was a complete no-go for me. Im sure she would have felt silly if the cops came, scanned the ID and showed it was legit. Not to mention the bartender had already started pouring the drink? I wouldn't have such a bad review if they were to just have been polite, and I also found it strange that the first night I was there, I was not asked identification at all. If their policy was implemented consistently, they should have at least, asked me the first time around for my identification.
If you're going to be adamant about checking ID's CORRECTLY, INVEST IN A MACHINE. Do better.
Following the rules is important, but treating people better, and with good intentions will...
