Review for Miami Old School Barbershop āā˜†ā˜†ā˜†ā˜† (1 out of 5) I was in the area and needed a haircut, so I booked an appointment through Booksy with a barber named Luciano. The shop looked cool and the cut + beard combo was listed at $60 before tip, which seemed fair. My appointment was confirmed almost immediately. I showed up about 10 minutes early. A man at the door asked my name, checked the computer and said I wasn’t in the system. I told him I booked with Luciano. He briefly spoke in Spanish with someone, then pointed to a chair and told me that guy would cut my hair. No introduction, no clarification, just a brush-off. I had to introduce myself with my limited Spanish and explain what I wanted: a fade, light trim on top, and a quick beard touch-up (since it was already shaped up). From the first 5 minutes, I could tell Luciano had no clue how to do a fade. His clippers looked generic and the technique was clearly off. I tried to give him a chance, but after about 15 minutes, I politely asked to stop the haircut and just settle up for the portion he did. Especially since he hadn’t touched my beard yet. Luciano didn’t understand and kept insisting on continuing. I asked if someone could help translate. That’s when Juan (another barber) came over. I calmly explained the situation and said I just wanted to pay something fair and leave. Instead of professionalism, Juan got defensive and aggressive making fun of my hair (or lack of), calling me bald, mocking my outfit, cursing at me loudly in front of other clients, and even filming me on his phone while I tried to pay. In the end, I paid $45 to avoid things escalating further and walked out with an unfinished, uneven haircut. The whole experience was completely unprofessional. No proper greeting, no confirmation of my appointment, no intro to the barber and worst of all: a complete lack of respect for the customer. I didn’t come in yelling or blaming anyone. I was polite and clear the entire time. Save yourself the money and the stress. There are plenty of barbers in Miami. This isn’t the one. I attached an image below of my $45 haircut I just received and also a photo of the barber who said his name is Juan. He was the one who couldn’t control himself and lost his cool cursing and making fun of me.

By far the best barbershop in Miami! I come here religiously every few weeks, and as someone who takes his cuts seriously, this place is top-notch professional. I usually see Fernando, but on the rare occasions he’s unavailable, the other barbers have been just as great. They’re not just trying to rush you in and out, they genuinely care about giving you the look you want. On top of that, the vibe is awesome: everyone’s friendly, and they even treat you to a drink while you’re in the chair. Always a great experience!

Hey, just wanted to say my haircut experience with you guys was great! I wasn’t able to get in with Ivan since he was busy with other clients during my time slot, but I was paired with a gentleman named Fernando and he was great. He really took the time to understand what I was looking for, shared his thoughts and expertise, and the results turned out amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Cassius Clay ... this man was disgruntal from the minute he walked in. He was properly greated by multiple barbers. Was asked multiple time what he'd like. Before being done, his anger was more evident & everything was done to try best & accommodate. However, he felt we were financially poor individuals whom were not aware of his multiple platinum status & intimidating friends. He proceeded, trying to insult us by claiming regular jobs are for poor people. How his status was above our pay grade & his experience(s) were well rounded, unlike us. I (the Juan he speaks of) will & am not allowing any bullies in any establishment! We tried best multiple times, but he insisted on mocking, trying to verbally abuse & insult.

I also told him he could leave without paying, being $45 was something worth causing such a scene for him. He then offered me to fight, told me he had a weapon in his bag (a gun at that) & that he can finish me & my life in less than 3 seconds. The best part, here he is acting like the innocent victim. Good thing it's all recorded.

I wished him the best & more success. We still have love for you Grammy Nominated, Platinum Award Winning, Rich, every rappers favorite producers favorite producer, killer, hard body bout it bout it thug. No love lost @cassiusclaybeats Cassius Clay

We give respect, as you can see from ALL our other reviews. But we will (I will) not tolerate disrespect! Have a...

I paid $75 and I’m horrified I can’t stand this haircut I did not get what I asked for he just did what he wanted to and it’s another horrible haircut in Miami. I’ve never in many many many years ever get a good haircut on South Beach. This was $75 and they told me that I was gonna get a 50% discount because I was local. I feel like the guy used God himself to distract me and butcher my hair listen I’m 61 and I don’t have a lot of hair but this guy like shaved off all my hair is horrible. I cannot recommend this place and I will not go back here again so I cannot recommend this on any level at all. No the conversation was entertaining, but the haircut was atrocious and now I don’t have any hair and I’ve got to go to affair with my familyand I think it’s horrible. I can’t stand it when I hate my haircut and every time I get my haircut in South Beach. No no no no no no no I don’t have any hair left. I don’t have any hair. I wanted a haircut not a shave. It’s unbelievable. I’m so angry. I’m gonna...
