A promoter convinced us that we would be enjoying a huge, delicious meal with free drinks if we went to this place before we moved to a club for a concert. There were many promoters but mine even had me pay for the Uber over promising me he’d give me cash but of course, he never did. Before even getting a drink or a bite to eat, they came around with a QR code to scan and asked us all to write a fake review And to give five stars. So the rating for this restaurant is a purchased rating and not authentic at all.

All of the drinks were watered down and disgusting and we probably got a chicken wing and a spoonful of hummus and pita each. They made us pay $20 for “service” but we were practically ignored, and it was clear that this money was to pay for the tiny plate of food that was “given” to us. They had no problem taking photos and videos of us for their social media, but they certainly didn’t care about us as people. Then they put half of the girls on a party bus, which never returned for the rest of us….

I find it very troubling that a restaurant is so comfortable with inviting young women under false pretences and not taking care of them whatsoever once they arrive. There was also a table of under age “ college students” that were still invited to drink and participate (I worked in the serving and restaurant industry for years, no doubt these kids were underage). I’m not sure why you would want to promote that?

I wish I could give you an honest opinion about the food at this place, but they hardly fed us at all. I will say it’s very bad taste to promote your restaurant this way. You are misleading your customers and everyone that came there to promote your restaurant left feeling robbed.

To say the least, we had a horrible experience. I would never...

recently had the pleasure of visiting this amazing place, and I must say it left a lasting impression on me. The establishment has a wonderful ambiance and a pleasant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting environment that sets the tone for a great experience.

One aspect that truly stood out for me was the delectable food and cocktails. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. The culinary expertise of the chefs is truly commendable, and it's evident that they put a lot of thought and care into creating their menu.

However, what really stole the show for me were the fantastic hookahs they offer. I have tried hookahs in various places around town, but I can confidently say that the ones at this establishment are simply the best. The flavors were rich, the smoke was smooth, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable.

The staff at this place deserves a special mention as well. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot-on, ensuring that my visit was nothing short of extraordinary.

All in all, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining and hookah experience. It's a gem in the city, offering a perfect blend of delicious food, delightful cocktails, and an ambiance that exudes charm. Trust me, you won't be...

HOT & NEW! Mamacita recently opened a month ago in the Edgewater district. A Miami open-air Latin restaurant that has really cool tropical decor in shades of green, apricot, terra cotta, and oak. We were warmly greeted at the entrance by a couple of hostesses and told to sit wherever we like. We chose the outdoors because it was a cool sunny day. They play house music with a Latin beat without being too loud. You can easily have a comfortable conversation. They have spacious outdoor and indoor dining. There is plenty of free self-parking in their private lot behind the restaurant, including wheelchair accessiblability.

They have a great brunch menu. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast, which was deliciously fresh and tasty with crusty multi-grain bead. It was so good! My daughter ordered the Mamacita Breakfast with sunnyside up eggs and bacon and multi-grain toast. She said it was good. She had Creme Brulee coffee, which was very good and I had Americano coffee for less sugar.

We were bad girls today and shared the Nutella pancake with strawberries and blueberries and all sorts of goodies in it! We each had a small slice and took the rest home. It was out of this world!!

Our server was Yerlin, who was one of the best servers that we have come across lately! She was attentive, friendly and professional! We had an OMG brunch and definitely will be...

This Colombian restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely spectacular—authentic flavors, well-prepared dishes, and a menu that really showcases the richness of Colombian cuisine. What stood out the most, however, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. I would easily rate the service a 10 out of 10; it made the entire dining experience feel special. That said, I do want to offer a suggestion for improvement. The air conditioning system didn’t seem to be strong enough for the size of the restaurant. Throughout the meal, we felt uncomfortably warm, which made it a bit exhausting to fully enjoy the otherwise amazing food and service. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he kindly explained that the issue was due to the system not having enough capacity. For future guests, I believe updating the air conditioning would make a big difference, ensuring the comfort and tranquility that such a wonderful dining experience deserves. Overall, this is a fantastic place with outstanding food and exceptional service—I highly recommend it, with the hope that the air conditioning will be upgraded soon.

Mamacita Miami is such a cute little spot with vibrant energy, and the food was flavorful and worth the visit. Everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented: from the breakfast classics to the over-the-top sweets. The real star for me? The housemade mango juice smoothie. 🥭✨ Freaking delicious! You could instantly taste the freshness, no additives, just pure mango goodness. I couldn’t resist pairing it with a mango mimosa, and let’s just say… cheers to that! 🥂 Now, let’s keep it real. The service wasn’t the greatest that day. We did have some wait time when we first arrived, but the staff was very transparent and communicated openly that they were short-staffed. Once they were able to get to us, the service we did receive was warm, hospitable, and apologetic, which went a long way. Overall, Mamacita Miami is worth the visit. The food and drinks alone made it memorable, and I’ll definitely be back to give them another opportunity when the team is fully staffed. Sometimes you catch a place on an off day, and I have a feeling next time will be even better. #MamacitaMiami #MiamiBrunch #FoodieLife #BrunchMiami #MiamiEats #JQueNow #TravelChicksRock
