I felt the need to go out of my way to leave Rubia an incredible review after she did such an awesome job with my partial balayage, haircut, and blowout. I initially found her on Instagram and was so nervous to try someone new after using the same hairdresser/color expert my whole life. But, I just moved to Miami from NJ and needed to find someone. However, Rubia put me at such ease and did an outstanding job with my hair. She was very responsive when I first texted her after getting her number on Instagram. Her prices were also pretty reasonable. When I came in, we had a nice brainstorming conversation over how to color my hair, and then I told her to use her professional discretion at the end since I loved the pictures I saw on her Instagram and trusted her judgment. She did an outstanding job and colored my hair to perfection and beyond. She was very sweet the whole time and was actually pretty quick with getting the job done, too. I had the most incredible experience at Rubia Correra Hair Salon yesterday! After a disastrous hair situation with a previous unprofessional hairdresser last month, I was left with bleached black hair and an ugly red tone. I was desperate for a correction Balayage.

Rubia, who I discovered on Instagram, worked her magic. She conducted a thorough hair test, and the results were astonishing. She used a special technique with dark brown color to cover the unwanted red tones in my hair and then redid the Balayage. The outcome was so pretty – a beautiful honey gold tone that looks absolutely elegant.

What makes this experience even more remarkable is that I drove all the way from Fort Lauderdale to Miami to see Rubia. Her talent and expertise are worth every mile of the journey. Horrible experience! I made my appointment specifically with Rubia and was handed from the very beginning to her assistant. When her assistant finished and started drying my hair I almost cried, it was ORANGE! At that point I was very upset, but I kept it together and nicely told her I was not happy with the color. She then argued with me and told me that that was what I had asked for and that I was color blind because my hair wasn’t orange it was “bronze”. I had to argue back and forth with her until she angrily talked to her assistant in Portuguese. Her assistant then walked me to the back and said she would fix it by adding toner.
