While staying at a Holiday Inn hotel near the airport, I ordered delivery, and the experience was frustrating from start to finish. Their online system couldn’t find my address, so I had to call, and despite clearly providing my information multiple times, it kept getting miscommunicated. They got my hotel room number wrong, my order wrong, and overall just didn’t seem to be listening.

The restaurant is only 12 minutes away yet my food took over an hour to arrive. I had to call multiple times just to get a status update because there was zero communication. I wasn’t notified when my order was ready, when the driver left, or when they arrived. I was completely left in the dark.

The pizza was good but they got the order wrong. The mozzarella sticks were disgusting, cold, soggy, and inedible. On top of that, the driver seemed annoyed that my room number was wrong, which wasn’t even my fault. I’ll never order delivery from here again and I definitely wouldn’t recommend the mozzarella sticks.

Jeff served me a baked spaghetti that was supposed to be vegan, with regular cheese instead. As a vegan of 11 years and a regular at Sarpino’s for about 2 months, I know what the vegan cheese looks, smells, tastes, bakes, and pulls apart like. Vegan cheese does not brown like regular dairy cheese does, nor does it melt and come together fully. When receiving my order, I took a bite and instantly knew it was not vegan cheese, and upon examining it, it’s appearance and texture were not that of what I’m used to, so I tried calling the store to confirm, and from 3 different phones, I called and waited on hold for over 30 minutes. No one answered. I pulled up to the restaurant and it was completely empty, only Jeff standing in the front by the register. Why did I have to waste my gas and time driving 12 minutes for a refund he could’ve processed over the phone? I’m very upset about this and a refund alone doesn’t make up for the fact that I was served food that I’m allergic to and made me sick. This is my first time ordering pizza from this spot, and it definitely will not be my last. I ordered a deep dish pizza because not many places in Miami offer that style. The tomato sauce had great flavor, and the crust was very good now for my toppings. I'm a big fan of Kalamata Olive and jalapeño ,but they have a great selection of toppings and vegan options, too. Now, the service through the phone was 100% the best customer service I ever had and let me tell you something if you're going to do delivery please make it through there app or website don't get the third party deliveries. The delivery guy was the same guy who helped me in my order because I wanted to tip formy delivery, so plz don't do door dash because I think if they make my pizza and do all the effort to make you the best pizza your going to eat ,they need to get tip.
