After my second experience having a reaction to a their signature facial, Dana the Miami Operations Manager called me to follow up. She offered me a calming facial to better work with my sensitive skin and to help assess what might be causing the reaction with my skin. I made an appointment in the fall but then got sick right before during flu season and had to cancel. Dana was very patient with me as I took some time to circle back on their offer after cancelling due to personal circumstances of moving but she checked in with me via email in the new year to re-offer this calming facial. I took her up on their offer this past week and had a calming facial with Karla.

Karla was very helpful to explain each product and why she thought it would be good with my sensitive skin. We talked a bit about what active ingredients are in my current products I use at home. She was very knowledgeable and had a great gentle touch with my face and when massaging my scalp. The treatments were cooling and soothing and felt good on my skin. This time I thankfully did not have any adverse reaction to the treatment. It still for me maybe wasn't the most fully relaxing experience I'd prefer from a facial just because my neighbors next door this time happened to be loudly talking and laughing towards the end of my treatment, but as many others say, this is a facial bar so the experience is just a bit different. Really appreciated the team reaching out to me to try to root cause the issues with my original treatments and offer something that works with my skin. If you do have very sensitive skin like mine, the Signature just might not be the way to go even if it's customized and the calming treatment may be...

Customer service 9/10, cleanliness 10/10, services offered 10/10 HOWEVER, the pushy sales technique at the end of services made me not want to continue my membership. It's truly so annoying. At my last appointment my esthetician that I regularly went to said "your skincare progress could have been further along if you purchased the items I recommended months ago" because I was hesitant to spend $300 after my service. It was such an awkward/uncomfortable moment. I haven't returned since then which is sad because I looked forward to monthly facials but dreaded the thought of being pressured to make a purchase at the end of my service. Some of the products that are recommended are not worth it in my opinion, I wasted money purchasing 3 highly recommended products, and had a negative reaction to a product I spent $178 on. Complete waste of money. So no, I am not interested in purchasing every single product that I'm told I "need" at the end of my service. The "recommendations" don't feel genuine and it seems that maybe the estheticians earn commission/ a prize for upselling or getting sales for specific products.
