Hedman Method — Local services in Miami

I've never written a bad review for anyone in my life, but they did such a horrible job!! :( I went for lip blushing, because they were located in the same building I worked. Someone from our building warned me not to go to them for lip blushing. They said they were only ok at microblading, but not to have my lips blushed there. I didn't listen because I know there are always going to be people who complain, and the reviews looked good (now I don't even know if they're real or fake). I wish I would've listened :( My lips were beautiful, and they did such a horrible job. In the pictures you can see the top left color was done higher than the top right, so now one side of my upper lip looks bigger than the other. The inside was done very unevenly as you can also see. And when the fading process started, I noticed the bottom left line goes straight up! Instead of curving around my lip like the bottom right one! (see pic). It looks like a 3-year-old drew my lips!! :( I've been to multiple other places, and they feel so bad for me for what they did to me. Everyone keeps telling me what a bad job was done (which I can see for myself and I haven't stopped crying since, but still I wanted other opinions to make sure I wasn't crazy). I've been told only tattoo removal sessions will undo this, which sucks so much cause it's going to cost me more to remove, and cause tattoo removal sessions hurt so much more!! :( I have tried explaining to the company over and over again that this was a horrible job, but they don't want to admit it. They are making up lies telling me it was my fault due to my "sensitivity." WHAT?!?! I never once complained!! It wasn't even that painful at all! I expected it to hurt so much, and it didn't at all! And they want to blame me!! PLEASE DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE... DO NOT GO HERE FOR LIP BLUSHING!! Even if they mess up, they'll make up lies afterwards to make you feel like it was your fault cause you had "ugly lips." I'm literally embarrassed to leave the house without lipstick on of how bad it looks :(

Update: Reply to Hedman Method's Reply: Good afternoon, unfortunately, this is a false statement being made in order to defend yourself online, which I understand anyone would do to not look bad. So it's ok. But it is false that I did not go in person. You saw me in person and yourself confirmed the mistakes that were made. But I know that you will not admit that online in front of others so that's ok. Regardless, I have already received my money back from my credit card, as they agreed that the work was not done properly, and I have already had my lips corrected at Lady Brows Studio and Academy, who did a more than amazing job. Thankfully, my lips look exactly how I wanted them to look now and even better. They look huge and the perfect blush shade; I look like I got lip filler and I didn't. So thankfully I am good now and the only thing that your mistakes cost me is my time. It's ok. Things happen. But I do suggest that you look into taking further classes and bettering your lip blushing services. You are not equipped or experienced enough to be offering this. I understand you have great reviews for eyebrows, but unfortunately, in lip blushing, you are not good at all, and I do not say that out of hate or meanness or anything. I wish I could say the opposite and not criticize, but this is the honest truth. They may be great at other things, but they are not good at lip blushing at all. If this were only my opinion, then maybe others may think I could be wrong, but so many people from our building have already said the same about your lip blushing services and I have heard them repeatedly warn others of your services for lips. Please think twice before you decide to go to this expensive but poor quality place. It is up to you to end up like me: unhappy, disappointed, and frustrated after spending 1100k and receiving 150 in value.

Alert: Do not get impress by the place or price. Please do a good research. Watch videos because many are taking other people pictures and claiming they did the job. no reason to pay 1000K now I know. I am looking for another better place

I decided to modify my review since I noticed a response from the owner. I just want the people to get a real picture and not get convicted by the justification from the owner. The place was super expensive. I would say overpriced $1100 and 150 in 4 weeks to correct issues??? It is crazy. However, I paid because I was dealing with the best of the best. Guess what, I was wrong. I went to a mediocre place with low-quality service. See below my facts: 1- overpriced as I stated 2- the owner which is the more expensive one does not measure, use any mold or take any steps to guarantee symmetry. When you watch the few videos she had posted, you can notice it. I see other places cheaper, they start by measuring and drawing lines to make sure they meet the asymmetric job. 3-I was expecting a natural output and I believe everyone who goes for the microblading session is expecting the same. This does not mean to do a poor service or not to meet the basics of the procedure. Which they failed big time 4- My eyebrows are not symmetric and I noticed it during the session. I told the owner to fix it. She made some corrections but still did not fix them. What did she mention in her response below about that the eyebrows could look asymmetric during the healing process has nothing to do with making the eyebrows uneven from the beginning. 5- after I put this review, She texted me and was letting me know that I was responsible for all her mistakes. So the poor quality was because I told her to do a natural look, the symmetric issues are because of the healing process. Also, That She took the extra time to fix her errors and I need to appreciate that.

I still do not know how to assess my experience since I would need to go for a touch-up in 4 weeks. So far I have a few defects to correct. I selected this place thinking that it is one of the best places in Miami and I did not care to pay 11 hundred which to me is overpriced. However, I wanted a high quality to at least fulfill my expectations. So far the service did not meet that level. However, I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and follow the process. I noticed that other places do more measurements to guarantee more symmetric eyebrows for half of the price I paid. Disappointed that I still need to pay 150 to fix issues I was not expecting. One of the issues I have now that I believe is not related to the healing process is that the eyebrows are not symmetric. One of them looks thinner than the other one. The second issue is that the shape is not what I was expected. it is very round and they do not look like most of the other shapes I have to see from other places. I came to Johanna because I noticed that my eyebrows aren't as full as they used to be when I was younger, and I wanted that younger, fuller look again. I never considered permanent makeup. But then I heard Johanna had developed this method, and that clients are coming to her from Europe to have this done, so I decided to take a chance. What impressed me the most about my session with Johanna was her meticulousness and attention to hygiene. Before starting, she spent a long time marking my brows with brow liner to make sure I was comfortable with the shape. I felt very comfortable giving her my opinion, and she seemed sincerely concerned about my approval of the look before she started the procedure. We tweaked the final shape a couple of times before she got started.

I have to say that the procedure was somewhat uncomfortable at the beginning, but I felt very reassured by Johanna. I’ve had everything on my body either waxed and lasered, so the discomfort wasn’t unlike anything I had experienced before. After she applied the secondary anesthesia, I really didn’t feel a thing. The procedure felt somewhat like a facial, and the chair and table and soft music give the room that feel. It was relaxing, if anything.

So – the results: Initially my eyebrows were a bit dark for me, for the first two to three days, but I felt completely comfortable going to work and being out. After about a week the darkness faded and my eyebrows looked really great. It has now been about 3 months and my eyebrows look so natural I honestly can't tell you what my real brow hair is and what was done by Johanna. It’s interesting how people perceive me as well – I know I look more attractive with such a small difference.

I was so pleased with the look of my eyebrows that I then decided to go back and have my lips done! The lips enhancement was a bit more uncomfortable than the eyebrows, but Johanna kept reapplying the anesthesia. They were definitely RED and BIG for the first 3 days. Because of this, I would definitely recommend having them done at a time where you don’t need to be in public for a couple of days. Despite the discomfort, I LOVE MY LIPS!! It was absolutely worth it, I am so ecstatic about how they look! My husband really, really likes my lips too, and I think and I smile more because I am so thrilled with how they came out. Before I didn’t wear lipstick because I didn’t like the shape of my lips. Now I can actually wear lipstick when I want a bolder look.
