I have nothing but great things to say about all of my experiences with S&L. I first dropped in to the Miami location by chance while on vacation. This was back in 2021. Significantly impressed by the welcoming team and the stretchy athletic fit I’ve been looking for, I immediately purchased a custom made to measure suit and shirt. It was shipped to my home in NC and the fit was great.
A year or so later, I got engaged and selected state and liberty for the location that all my guys would get their gear at for the wedding. I didn’t even know it was an option until the team mentioned it during another stop-in. They were consistently attentive to all of my needs and helped me pick every single detail with confidence.
I had multiple custom suits made in a variety of selections and my entire wedding party came to get fitted as well. Even some attendees who were not in the wedding, but traveling through with us bought suits on the spot. The guys were so fun and upbeat and made it a blast. They coordinated the whole thing for us, in addition to an online rep who made me feel like a VIP the whole time. This is a testament not only to the solid expertise of the staff, but also to the high quality gear which continues to impress. The staff, especially Matt the manager of the Miami store, personally took time with every single groomsmen to ensure a perfect fit. It was not easy and the process had a few curve balls (I.e. a 10 year old as ring bearer, some gear was off a bit, super tight timelines, etc.) To top it off, my guys were all over the country, none local to the area. A few of them even went the virtual fitting route which was also super easy.
There were a few tweaks which were needed, but in general the experience was fantastic. The only criticism I have, is that the neck is not stretchy and there could be more options in terms of customization. Maybe a rewards membership option also. But the in-store service was impeccable consistent through all of the visits. The whole staff took care of us and it was such a great time. The wedding is right around the corner and we are all ready. I have had so many compliments and love how it all fits. I will 100%...
Read moreMy experience at State and Liberty's Brickell City Center store was truly amazing, especially after a less-than-ideal start elsewhere in my wedding suit search.
I wanted to buy my suit about nine months in advance, and while another store turned me away, State and Liberty was incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in.
Alejandro was the first to help me, and he did an excellent job. He was patient and skilled, helping me find the exact fit and color for my wedding suit, making the initial purchase completely seamless.
Fast forward to two weeks before my wedding, and the service continued to impress during the final fitting and alterations. Rodrigo went above and beyond! Given the time that had passed, some alterations were needed.
State and Liberty expertly managed the entire process, even coordinating new buttons that I had ordered separately from Amazon. Rodrigo personally ensured the buttons got to the tailor and that my suit was perfect, taking all the hassle out of it for me.
The entire team, especially Alejandro and Rodrigo, provided exceptional, hands-on service, making what could have been a stressful process incredibly easy and pleasant. I highly recommend State and Liberty, particularly the Brickell City Center location, for their outstanding customer service...
Read moreI wear suits for a living as an attorney. I have a closet full of them, all mostly high end brands. I just happened to walk into the State and Liberty store to browse. I had no intention of buying anything whatsoever when the salesperson approached me and said “I can tell you wear a lot of suits. Will you just try this on for me and tell me what you think”. I reluctantly put the jacket on and was completely amazed. It fit me like a glove and moved and stretched as i walked around. It’s a life changer if you wear suits. Doesn’t wrinkle. Pants fit perfectly. Not one alteration needed. I think they should call the company “State of Liberty” because they liberated me from uncomfortable suits that simply don’t fit no matter how good a seamstress...
