This place absolutely disappointed me. I was visiting Miami with some friends and we decided on Sushi for Dinner and choose this place specifically because of the good reviews. Let me just start by saying that the service was terrible. First our waitress never checked up on us and was being extremely weird when my friend ordered a drink and had a Texas ID because we are from Texas. He said it’s illegal to serve alcohol to people who don’t have an ID from the State of Florida in Florida. That was absolutely hilarious because it’s not true. Then he said his Big boss was at the restaurant so he couldn’t serve it to us but he would ask the “big boss.” All of this happened while he strangley kept looking over his shoulder to make sure nobody was watching him. Super weird vibes and at that point we decided to skip drinks all around. After that our waitress took our orders and never checked up on us every again. The only good thing was the actual food. I will say the sushi was absolutely amazing and everything tasted great! However, after our meal, our waitress messed up our receipt and then demanded that we pay for everything on one check. Not a problem but we had requested to pay on seperate checks. Now here comes the worst part. A few hours after leaving the restaurant and not eating or drinking anything else, me and my friend who ordered the raw salmon rolls got the worst food poisoning ever! Seriously so dissapointing. I’ve eaten sushi forever and I’ve never had such a terrible reaction. This was Absolutely unacceptable, I would expect a place with such high reviews to not give us Food poisoning but I guess you just never know.
