I had an amazing and memorable experience at Kirk Jewelers. I must say that Ariel (who helped me) showed me utmost honesty, sincerity, understanding, and was very professional from A-Z.

Also, I'd like to express my gratitude to the boutique director Michele. Michele treated me with a heart of gold, which is unforgettable.

This was my first Rolex purchase at the Authorized Dealer in Brickell City Center (in Kirk's Jewelry boutique.)

One of the top things I could say (and I am proof of) is that Kirk's does not leverage sales. I mean that (contrary to what everyone says on the internet), I did not have to buy a bunch of jewelry or watches before I could purchase the piece I wanted.

I completely understand how the boutique must be cautious and considerate of who they sell to because many people want to take advantage to resell for a significant profit. There isn't much inventory to go around, and I understand it.

I was considered (as I prayed and wished for) to have the opportunity to purchase the piece I wanted for real and honest reasons; I wanted a Rolex watch and to hopefully pass it down to my son one day. Ariel got to know me, got to understand my story, my experience, passion, and love for watches; he told me he'd do his best, that it could take time, but that he would put me on the waiting list and call me when the opportunity presented itself.

In all honesty, I began to question the reality and possibilities, I expressed my concerns every time with Ariel, and he always explained things adequately to me. It took time, but one day Ariel called me to ask if I was still interested; I dropped everything I was doing and drove with my kids and wife to the boutique; I arrived in 30 mins or less, and they were ready for me.

I got to try on the watch and did not want to waste another minute; the transaction was "smooth sailing."

I am writing this review for a couple of reasons: a.) The attention, service, and consideration I received. b.) To share my experience and let people know that it's not like many people say on the internet that Rolex ADs are horrible. I think that, like anything in life, if you walk up to what you want with kindness, respect, patience, and honesty, the chances of obtaining or achieving what you want are much greater.

I am now a proud owner of a Rolex GMT Master two (black and blue bezel.)

Kirk’s location in Brickell City Center is a very nice jewelry and luxury watch boutique. While it feels like there are a million of these stores in Miami, their level of service, and particularly my experience working with Maybel stood apart. She was friendly and honest, helping me choose an important gift and communicating with me through the process. It was a great experience and I look forward to working with her and the team at Kirk moving forward.

I just left the Rolex store in Miami Brickell and honestly, I’m annoyed. From the moment I walked in, the women there didn’t seem welcoming at all. I felt like I was going back and forth just to even be considered for a waitlist that they most likely wouldn’t call me for.

I was actually so happy when I randomly bumped into the store while doing some shopping during lunch — but the whole experience messed up my day. It wasn’t the lady’s tone that was off-putting, it was the fact there was zero excitement or energy about me being a potential customer at Rolex. I’m literally only asking to be put on a list, because these days you can’t just walk in and buy a watch.

One of them asked if I was local. I said no, I’m from Texas — not thinking I’d have to explain my whole life, but I do come to Miami bi-weekly. She told me I should put myself on the list where I’m “local” because if they called, I’d have to travel back and they can’t hold the watch for long. I’m sitting there wondering… so are you putting me on the list or not?

Once I told her I come often, she added that it depends on the watch I’m looking for before they could even consider it. I had been standing there for 4–5 minutes just talking about possibly getting on a list — to buy a watch.

My husband’s been wanting this watch for a while, and I get now why people are frustrated trying to get one. We don’t want to pay over retail, but I’ve never had an experience like this at any other Rolex store. Everywhere else, associates have been nothing but pleasant.
