Literally the worst blow out I’ve ever had. Walked in and the person who should have been working the front was busy putting away things, ok no big deal… but the problem was she didn’t even bother to greet me she continued doing what she was doing until another group walked in and then proceeded to help me. My stylist was nice but she literally drenched the front of my shirt. I don’t know if it’s how she angled the hose, but it literally went right in between my boobs and into my shirt. The front of my shirt was drenched. I told her I got wet and then she said she would dry me with the blow dryer. After the wash I reminded her my Shirt was wet and showed her and she said wow how did that happen? Umm yea you sprayed down my whole shirt. She also forgot to dry me so I left with a wet shirt. I noticed when she was blow drying my hair she was very timid and didn’t put any tension. I told her I just wanted pin curls so it can be loose curls at the end. Literally not even 10 minutes after I left my hair is frizzy and everything dropped! I literally came in with better hair than how I left. I’m appalled and pissed off because tonight I’m going to dinner for my anniversary and I still have to do my hair myself. My mood is shot for what’s supposed to be a special night. I will never come here again, and to be honest I am pissed about having to pay for this service. This wasn’t worth $70 at all. I’ve also attach pictures of my wet shirt and my flat frizzy hair.

Beyond disappointed in my experience at this location. Booked for a dry style ONLY. Showed up with my hair 99% dry and was told I had to pay for a blowout as well since my hair was wet. I expressed frustration at this and asked her if we could just do the blowout so I didn’t have to pay for 2 services at which point the stylist said something about ā€œcurly hair is frizzy, I’m the stylist, you’re trying to convince me that you’re right, stop arguing and let me do my jobā€. Never received an actual answer to why we couldn’t just do the blowout. I’m perfectly capable of curling my own hair which I ended up having to do anyway as my curls fell immediately (see photo taken less than 20 min after leaving my appointment). Complete waste of money and what was supposed to be a relaxing hair appointment before an important event resulted in nothing but stress and disappointment. I had a very pleasant experience at a different drybar location last weekend but this location is not it, there was 0 effort by the stylist or receptionist to even attempt to make it right.

I went today for a dry style and I don’t love how my hair turned out. It still looks kind of frizzy. Also, I have bleached blonde hair, and I had to remind my girl to use heat protectant. She barely used. Afterwards my hair felt completely fried. I wish more people knew how to work on blonde hair. You have to be extremely careful. One time of high higher esp with no heat protectant can really damage bleached hair. It’s pretty disappointing. I just got a haircut and my hair has been feeling really healthy and now I have hair that I don’t like how it’s styled, feels and even smells very fried.

I made an appointment here so I could have a carefree hairstyle for the day. I have had plenty of blowouts before and know what to expect. First I called because I couldn’t find the location and the gentleman was kind on the phone. I arrived and was offered a beverage which never arrived during my service. The hairstylist came over asking what I wanted and I pointed to the picture in the book which was a mixture of the soft waves and curls (can’t remember name). I explained that I like flowy curls that aren’t pin straight at the end and volume. We went to the sink where I had a very light wash - almost felt like nothing was done. I was also sprayed in the eye with water though she apologized. Then when we sat I noticed she only applied detangler / no products to keep a blowout, which is the norm in my experiences. I figured maybe after she rough dried my hair they’d be applied. Instead, she completely blew my hair dry with the dryer and with no brush - not one ounce of volume or curl. She then took a curling iron to it and at the and I felt I looked like Shirley temple. She asked me if I wanted any spray and I looked at her appalled thinking this is it? I told her I had wanted a softer look and that this looks like you just took a curling iron into my hair. I explained that normally when I get my hair done, they are using a brush to make brush curls. I said sometimes I’ve seen that you brush these curls out to soften but I don’t know and I’m not a hairstylist so I don’t want to mess it up. She bluntly said ā€œwell I am a professionalā€ and then she proceeded to flatten it a bit with the iron and asked me again how it was. I wasn’t trying to be annoying, but there was literally no volume so then I had to make her tease my hair, which you wouldn’t have to do if it were blow dried correctly in the first place. It’s flat as a pancake now - even my boyfriend noticed.

Then at the end be aware that they already include 18% gratuity - I did not know this and added extra tip so after that I had to ask for a refund and do it again. I made this appointment to be stress free and have a nice hairstyle and left there feeling ripped off and like I wasted my time. I will never return here

UPDATE received a phone call to delete my review and receive a free blowout with another stylist, which I will clearly not take...

I’ve been coming to the dry bar every week for over 2 years now. I’m exceptionally ecstatic and pleased with the impeccable conditions of the salon as well as how informative the staff is. Lol I’m a sucker for my regular products but I do love how everyone will tell about new products and always explains the pricing for add one so there’s no misunderstanding. It does amaze me how patrons still act like they were not informed of the add in detail. I giggle to myself because even I heard lol! Bielka has been an absolute pleasure and is always the most professional in her impeccable craft and managerial skills, She’s always extremely polite and professional in every situation and in 2 years I’ve seen her handle some not so nice patrons with the upmost respect as they throw their temper tantrums of published store policies. I do feel horrible patrons would show out but Bielka handles everything so professionally and pleasantly.

Now onto her skills, let me preface I’m extremely picky with my hair and she provides excellent styling every time. I love her work and she always has a smile to give which makes the salon feel so inviting. She’s very knowledgeable about products and product purpose and ingredients and is most helpful if I want to try something new sometimes. She is a true gem as a stylist and manager.

I will never go anywhere aslong as I live in...
