I ordered a key fob two weeks ago from Batteries Plus. I was told it would take around a week in order for the key fob to ship in and that they would call when it arrived. After about a week and a half I had heard absolutely nothing from them so I went to the store. My key fob had been delivered and they had failed to call me. I explained to them when ordering the key fob my situation of PCSing overseas and needing the second key fob made and it was extremely important to get it done in a timely manner. I had called about a week prior to ever going there to get a timeline quote which was the same as the day I ordered it, a week. When I went in to ask about the key fob it seemed quite unorganized and they had to search for it with a note saying to call but no one ever did. Then they gave every excuse they could think of as to why they didn’t call, why they couldn’t sync the key to my car, and so on and so on. This being four days before shipping the vehicle. Once again I had explained this whole situation when I ordered the key. I asked if they could have it done by Sunday and I was told Sunday was a definite no, then they would call me later to let me know if the guy who does it was going to show up to work or not on Saturday because he’s dealing with personal issues. Once again, this should I have been communicated in a timely manner so I would be able to find someone to program the key.
ETA: After all of this and going to a different store to get the key fob programmed I find out the wrong key was ordered! The one they ordered cannot even be programmed to my car. This has been such an awful,...
Read moreI took my wife's iPhone 7 in for a screen repair due to a cosmetic crack in the glass. The screen was 100% functional we just wanted the crack fixed. The employees are the store we're all relatively helpful, nothing too bad here. However, the lack of craftsmanship in this repair and essentially being told I'm SOL are the issues I have with this repair service. While there isn't a crack in the phone anymore, the screen is much less responsive than when it was cracked. Worst of all the replacement screen juts out from the phone with a noticably gap between the new screen and the rest of the phone. I appreciate that another "repairman" acknowledged the issues I brought up about the replacement, however the best resolution I received was that there wasn't a crack anymore. Read morePurchased a boat battery two weeks ago. Installed the battery and it was dead. Put the battery on a charger and it started the boat. Boat is kept on charger while in our garage. Now first day of vacation with the boat. Not on a charger for 24 hours and battery is dead! Took the battery to store in Traverse City & the guy says he needs to test the battery once it’s charged, which will take all day. He will call us when it’s done and tested! He refused to replace it. He stated he needed to call the store where we bought it for “information”. We had the receipt with the battery!
