I went to Ramani's last Monday to rent a tux for an upcoming wedding. Vicki met me and proceeded to get my jacket sized and was wondering why I wasn't buying a black suit instead as the difference was about $50. I couldn't argue with that reasoning so I made the purchase of the suit, a shirt, belt, and tie. I mentioned I needed shoes and they unfortunately didn't have my size in stock. That's when Scott came into the picture and offered to check their other stores for my size. I was told to call back on Thursday. He had no luck in the Meriden store but told me he would keep looking. This morning he called to say he located a pair. Absolutely love this place - get ready for a story!!! Last minute search for my fiancé's wedding suit. We stopped into Modern Formals first because of a friend's recommendation. The employee there immediately started sh*t-talking Ramani's, which was a red flag to me. We told them we would never buy a suit from someone who behaved that way so we went down the street to Ramani's and IMMEDIATELY had a better experience. Polite, patient, great listeners, professional input, kind. Friendly. Felt like we were suit shopping with family. They helped us pick something perfect for our farmhouse wedding and are tailoring it to fit now. Will update review when we pick up the suit but can 100% say this is THE PLACE to go and find your male...

Friday had to pick up a suit for my son. Renting for a dance in a few days. Along with shoes,shirt...the whole deal. The day before the gentleman was very helpful and thought we were allset. We walked in the suit was the wrong color, wrong size no shoes. We were mortified. We needed everything for tomorrow. It was 5pm already. The sales clerk that was working took control of the matter and turned a bad situation and made it all right. He remeasured my son, called the owner at the Meriden location.
