I found the Cottonwood Heights location online and was pleased to discover it was in the same business complexes that I work in so I assumed it would be a fast, convenient place to grab lunch on my break, but when I arrived there was a note on the counter saying "please be patient I had to go to the bathroom, I will be back fast" so I waited patiently for over 10 minutes when the counter young woman returned. I was about to leave, I left the time frame on her note to which I waited and she stated, very rudely, she was only gone for less than 2 minutes (which was not true, it was a total of 20 minutes before I finally was served and back to work and they are one parking lot from my office), she then proceeded to try and argue about how long she was gone, I didn't have time to get the food I originally wanted and asked for just a 3 item sandwich and she proceeded to tell what she was going to make, at this point I was very put off by her unpleasant demeanor and her dictating what she wanted to do that I nearly walked out but continued with my order since my entire break was over and had to get back to work. There were no customers in the location and there was no reason that a plain ham, cheese and tomato sandwich should have taken over 10 minutes, not to mention the rude and unpleasant customer service was very unbecoming of the counter employee. It seems to be a lovely little deli, but management may want to reconsider the employment of the person serving at that location. This is a corporate office complex and it looks bad for a business serving a corporate community to have poor customer service. The star I gave was for the...
Read moreThe company I work for did a company lunch through Toaster's, and I ordered it. The total came out to be around $300, before tip. Since the order was so large, the ordering software the restaurant uses gave me some rewards for free items. This was a nice surprise, especially since the food is good. I decided to place an order a week or so later, and use the reward. When I got there, the employee working the front register asked me how I was able to redeem a reward. I told him the ordering software gave me rewards after doing a large order, and showed him on my phone. He told me the manager was on the phone and was not sure how I had rewards/points, and he told me that he had not consented to have the restaurant be part of a rewards program. After the employee spoke with the manager on the phone for a little while and then told me that I would have to pay full price for my order. Normally, I would have just paid, but their food is definitely on the pricier side so I decided to just have them cancel my order. This was a bummer because the food is delicious, but I wish the management was more aware, due to the fact they use a popular, highly-used software for...
Read moreAbsolutely the BEST NEW FIND in Millcreek! Stopped by yesterday to test their menu. Husband got a Pesto Chicken with avocado on wheat and I got the Ruben on white. Absolutely divine! Both were loaded with good portions of ingredients and so flavorful. We prefer the white bread.
We loved it so much at noon, we took our 3 adult children last night for dinner - same day! We ordered the chicken salad sandwich on white, the bacon egg cheese croissant, Turkey Avocado sandwich on wheat, Ham & Pepper Jack wrap, and Spicy Buffalo Chicken wrap. Least favorites were the wraps, but the sandwiches were the BEST. The breakfast croissant was incredible and is a new favorite I will definitely order again. Real egg, real & thick bacon, cheese, and the most delicious tender croissant ever.
Toaster's Deli beats Zupas on quality and beats any breakfast croissant I've eaten. Portions are also plenty big for the reasonable price. Also enjoyed coupons from the owner for next visit. Definitely will go back with or without coupon! Please support Toaster's Deli so this location finally gets a solid business there.
I'm sorry for not taking photos before we devoured it...
