Not my favorite location especially during the later evening hours. I truly understand that retail isn't all that easy when you have to deal with the general public being out right evil cuz they can. especially the ones who never even consider your feelings. People, (especially customers) often know that ancient rule of thumb, you know the one "The customer Is always right". That's retail and you can't blame them. At the same time tho, some customers (not all) love to use it to their best advantage and they often do. Some take it even further by tetelling out right lies on you, in hope of you losing your job. Don't fret tho, Its an entitlement stigma that's been set in stone years ago by Store owners everywhere. It helps in maintaining any successful business. But keep in mind that they're are laws so you do have certain rights. Get familiar with them. Google unethical work place rights/laws for employees. That should give u some ideas. Hope this helps.
Customers always right! Don't ever forget that. It could cost you your job. God forbid.
Here's a tip to help you newbies out when things get busy during the Christmas season and the store lines seem to go on forever.
Fact: Maintaining a positive attitude along with a smile when dealing with so many different personalities can be quite a daunting task and a very challenging one as well. But remember attitude is everything! It can also work itself out to benefit you. Many customers that are difficult will most likely walk away angry, even when the presence of a manager is summoned. So the benefit is you will still have your peace of mind, while taking on the next customer in your line.
I'm 55 years old and have done my fair share of retail work. So trust me I totally get it. But in all honesty it really does pay to have a positive friendly attitude. Give it a go what have you got to lose? Good luck to you.
Have a very Merry Christmas & a Happier New Year!! God bless!

Read moreThis was a great visit. First Marcela came to the register when she saw the line getting long and then helped me. Quickly called Steve who graciously helped me who didn't really know the shoe department and found the pair I was looking for. He was polite extremely helpful and hardworking. He even received a call for assistance but said to wait cause he was helping me and then even went to the back to check if the shoe was there. He's dope. Cool dude. I owe him a pastillo. Then Mayra rung me out and was quick friendly and warm. It was a perfect Trifecta of warmness, welcoming, and professionalism. It's people like them why I keep coming back. Thank you you three for making this war vets day easy and enjoyable! I look forward to more...
Read moreAt first I thought it was great to avoid shipping costs with free ship to store pick up option for my online order. Come to find out, I should have just paid for the $8.95 shipping. I may as well have been in the Amazon warehouse with the line of people ahead of me at customer service who were there returning Amazon purchases. To to it off, there must have been a glitch with the scanners because they were having a hard time getting the returns processed. While the front of the store is teaming with assistance and sales representatives at the check out counters, the back customer service area had one guy at a register, and after 20 minutes, a second female showed up. It makes the term customer...
