In short: I highly recommend Jen for her expertise, warm personality, and her amazing scalp massage. Arch salon is beautiful and relaxing, I’m so pleased to find this salon since I’m right down the street from it. I will definitely come back for other sevices!

More detailed review below: This is my first time at Arch salon, and also my first time with Jen. I had very long, fine hair, so I just want a good haircut to get the most out of my Dyson Airwrap. I didn’t have a specific style in mind, all I told Jen was that I’m very low maintenance when it comes to my hair, I just want a nice cut so that it’ll dry nicely and (somewhat) voluminously with my airwrap. Since my hair is very fine, volume has always been challenging. That said, I just told Jen generally what i want without any specific style, and she made it happen.

My hair is now still very low maintenance, i still don’t have to do much with it, except for drying it with the airwrap. I can see a big difference, I got much more volume. Also, even though the back was cut so that it’ll be more on the rounder side/blunt (not the V-shape), Jen made it so that my hair got a lot of natural movement and frame my face nicely.

Also, Jen has a very warm, welcoming, and personable personality, even though this is my first time with her, she made me feel very welcome.

One additional major bonus point (at least for me, personally) is that Jen gave the best scalp massages while shampooing. I always get extra scalp massage with my facials and full body massage, and I can say with confidence that Jen’s was phenomenal, definitely top-tiered. My tension was melting away. Addison has been doing my hair for years and I recently followed her move to arch salon in north loop. I’d drive an hour for Addison’s color skills but having her at an adorable convenient location is fab. The salon has such a cute vibe and clean aesthetic, exactly what the north loop has been missing! Addison has taken me through tall of life’s up and downs.
