This was by far one of the most satisfactory fast food dining experiences of my 24 year old life. For one thing, this may be one of the most beautiful fast food restaurants in the country--high ceilings, large floor plan, with an unbelievable amount of seating available. Then, the service was absolutely fantastic! The gentleman that took my order was polite, and had a wonderful demeanor. After I placed my order, I went to get my condiments, and they have 7 different sauces! Seven! Seis! VII! Simply amazing. I personally suggest the Chick-fil-a sauce combined with the Ranch dressing, but to each his own. Then, they actually brought my food to my table! Keep in mind, this is a fast food restaurant. For a moment, I thought I was at Capital Grille... Obviously I'm exaggerating a smidge here, but you get what I mean. My food was marvelous, as you would expect from a Chick-fil-a. And then, to top it all off, a woman came by and took my finished tray for me, and then she even got me a refill on my drink!!! This is a fast food restaurant? I couldn't believe my eyes. As I was leaving the restaurant, still in disbelief of what I had experienced, I glanced over at the sauce island just one more time, as if to say "see you later, buddy", and what did I notice? Mints! This fast food restaurant has mints sitting out for you! No way! They were even the soft kind that melts in your mouth! Needless to say, I'm still in shock. I will most likely be taking my beautiful girlfriend there for the many different special occasions in our life to come (birthdays, anniversary's, etc.) But seriously, if you're ever in this area, and your hungry, don't want to spend a lot of money, but still want a quality dining experience, this is the place for you. My only complaint is that they aren't open on Sundays, but this is merely a Chick-fil-a company policy that all stores abide by, and so I can respect that. I mean, who wants to work on a Sunday anyway?! Just means I'll have to be waiting at the door first thing Monday mornings! Thank you Chick-fil-a, for being the...
Read moreI have never written a review for Chick-fil-A, their service is always top quality and I have come to expect a certain level of service when I go to CFA. I used to work for CFA for 3 years back when I was in highschool/college so I know a thing or two about how a CFA should be operated. (Was a team lead and trainer when I previously worked there.)
The service I've experienced the last several times I've visited this particular CFA needs to be addressed.
This CFA is by far the WORST I have ever been to. Their service is horrid, their drive-thru staff did not greet us when we pulled up, infact when we began to order the way they told us they were ready to take our order was "go ahead". Not, "it's a great day at CFA my name is *, how can I serve you?" The way you are trained to greet guests.
They are so incredibly slow, I used to work at one of the busier CFA's in the nation (in the top 50 I believe) and we would have lines around the building and literally out the parking lot in to the overflow parking and we would still be faster than this CFA. There is no excuse for it to take 5-7 minutes for a simple $20 order with no special requests.
Their staff is not friendly at all. Like I mentioned above this CFA does not greet their customers in the drive-thru the way they should and are trained to. The inside staff is even worse, there is no greeting when entering the establishment and when I got to the counter I was waiting for a good solid couple of minutes before my order was taken.
This is not how a CFA should be run and I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service they are allowed to get away with here. The franchise management should have a good long chat with their staff managers and get to the...
Read moreThis was my worst ChikFilA experience, which is still like saying it's the worst of the best. It feels wrong to criticize the Lord's chicken, but this is the first time I've ever had them try to charge me for a sauce packet, put ice in my drink when I said no ice and they put it on my receipt.. and then my spicy chicken sandwich was just the plain grilled patty. I realize that at almost 8 pm, it may be getting toward the end of their shift, but it seems like there are levels of employees who are either burned out, not paying attention or just don't care. For the sauce, I was told that is a choice made by each location's operator. I did not address the ice or getting the wrong chicken until I was leaving, and then only to let the manager know of the issues and my impending review. I get it, mistakes happen. I just expect better for $15. This is still a ChikFilA, and everyone I interacted with seemed friendly, if not down right chipper. The restaurant was clean. The food, although not correct, still tasted good. I would not tell people not to come here, but there are too many other locations in KC, so I won't be at...
