It feels like the goal of this particular store is to get out of helping/providing customer service.
I'll note that we've been AT&T customers since before they were AT&T, probably about 16 years. We moved, making this location our closest store, and only one time in the last two years have we walked out with good customer service.
We've ended up driving 30 minutes away to another location that provided the help we need.
Today was the last straw to earn this review.
I went in to address that my phone has been dropping calls, only makes emergency calls, doesn't text, it essentially does not do what phone should do. This phone is right at a year old. Zero physical damage, and the third time in a row phone has just quit working service wise. I was told to call Samsung and try to get a warranty replacement, even though it was outside the warranty window. I asked about insurance, which we pay for and the associate seemed less than interested in helping with that process. I brought up additional solutions that the associate did not offer, instead suggested I only had two options, which was insurance or a phone pay off and take my business elsewhere. We have next up, which I brought up paying and taking and early upgrade, if the issue is the phone. I got a "yea you could do that, and turn over your other phone now" (The phone is saying no data and not backing up, I'd lose everything)- but ultimately suggested calling Samsung, making the service issues not an AT&T problem. While the phone does have a battery issue (slow charge and low hold), and doing so may result in a new phone, my lack of service, which effects my job is the bigger issue and essentially not addressed, no trouble shooting, not even a "let me dig into that for you."
I'd assume this person's hands were tied and they'd done what they could do, if I hadn't gone to a further away location and been helped appropriately. This was not the first experience of this sort with this associate. At the end of the day, I'd be revisiting training at this location,...

Read moreThe absolutely rudest service I've ever received.
After talking to ATT representative on the phone and being advised to visit my local ATT store I and my husband went to store in Monroe, WA to ask question about unlocking my Iphone so that I can give it to my friend. Once we walked in, nobody greeted us and the personnel seemed annoyed by us asking questions. The associate named Austin told me I have to go online and unlock it myself, I explained that I already called ATT and there is nothing they could do and that I was asked to come here. "This is not my problem, you can go across the street, the door is right there, I cannot help you, go online or call again"- words I heard back. I immediately asked him to call his manager, who actually was in the store listening to all of that and said absolutely nothing. I asked him to call his supervisor then- in response I was rudely asked to leave the store.... I was shocked to the point that I could not say anything.
I turned around and started walking towards the exit and Austin yelled "Do not come here again, you are not welcome"...
They are not a corporate store and probably do not care about representation of AT&T and...
