I don’t want to be that person that leaves a bad review for a local business but I have never had an experience like this in my entire life and feel the need to share it.

I would NEVER recommend Wyatt’s Diamond Jewelers in Monroe for anything watch related, I cannot say anything about the jewelry side as we’ve never used them for that. They have had my husbands watch for almost 2 years! Yes you read that right TWO YEARS! My husband’s watch (that he got from his father for his 21st birthday and is valued at over $2000), had stopped working, we had sent it to the repair that does warranty work on this brand of watches and they couldn’t figure out what the issue was. Someone we know recommended Wyatt’s to check it out and see what the issue was. Multiple months pass, no communication we call, leave a message, call leave another message. They finally call back and say their watch guy is still looking at it. Again this goes on we check in with them they never, ever, tried to communicate with us and update us, it was always us calling and asking for an update and they would always have an excuse. He hasn’t gotten to it, or we don’t know…. We were VERY patient. They told us their watch guy was having a family problem and would be back in a few weeks. We check in again, nothing. Finally after a year and a half of the back and forth excuses and nonsense we asked for the watch back. Well now they have no idea where it is and don’t think the problem was looked at yet….. they lost it…. We told them they would have to replace said watch or give us credit. They agreed. Miraculously a few hours later, they’ve found the watch and know what’s wrong with it. Its with another company elsewhere and they want to charge $900 to fix it. We said no, we would like it back now, money is tight and we can’t afford to fix it, had this been a year and a half ago we probably could’ve. During this phone call, the owner decided 3 times to answer his own personal phone and have conversations, didn’t say hold on, didn’t put us on hold, just talked on his other phone while we can hear the whole conversation. He was absolutely rude, and doesn’t believe they did anything wrong or could’ve done anything different…. Now, it’s been 3 weeks since this conversation, we told them to get the watch back to us. Called to see if they could size my ring and fix my watch clasp. Dean answered and had all the info I needed, with a smiling voice! So friendly. I popped in and felt like "Family" straight away! Dean and his Dad, James are beautiful humans with literal "hearts of gold"! I got my ring back fitting perfectly and looking better than I left it! They took great care to check all the smaller diamonds to make sure they were secure after sizing. I love the true care that they both show and pride in their work! I brought in another ring to be sized based on the level of knowledge and Customer Service. Even though I didn't buy the pieces that I brought in, they treated me as if I had. I had been an intermittent customer of Wyatt's for years until I moved out of state. I purchased unique pieces as presents for my wife, which she has proudly worn ever since. People often notice her jewelry and make highly appreciative comments, which pleases both of us. Wyatt's has also cleaned and maintained a special watch I got as a gift (from elsewhere) very satisfactorily for years. Recently, they had it for service at the time I moved, and they were able to complete the appropriate service and ship it (insured) to my new address. I highly recommend this company, both for their experienced and candid opinions and advice as well as their artistic workmanship! I cannot imagine you would ever be...
