My partner and I went to look at engagement rings. We made a special overnight trip to Mohegan to checkout Swarovski. Up until then we had only seen the rings online. We wanted to go scope them out to see them in person and learn about our sizes, etc. Mary was pleasant, but fake as could be and really wanted nothing more to do with us when she learned we weren’t going to buy that day. When we asked her to size my partner, she really did a lousy job and could have gave a crap. She was even sure to drop a passive aggressive (or not so passive comment) stating that ‘if “people” keep going online to buy, they won’t have a store to go to anymore.’ Her bad vibes really could have ruined the engagement ring experience if I had let them. I definitely don’t recommend buying diamonds here or anything else special that you might have to save up for for that reason. I understand her frustration to an extent, but if she’s not getting credit for the customers she helps, then that should be the company’s problem to fix- don’t take it out on the customer who is there for a once in a lifetime experience! The sales reps can see me but pretending that I don't exist. Wouldn't even acknowledge that I was standing there, went back again another sign says will be right back again. Same thing the sales raps are pretending that I don't exist. Went back again and a sales rap was coming in for work and didn't even acknowledge same as others pretend that I wasn't there.
