Good sales always liked Boscovs. 6/28/20 editing this review not on the store but on the bank they use for the Boscov's card, do not use or get, the bank is horrible and customer service is well even worse. I have a card paying it off now to cancel it for good, during this time right before the virus my wife signed up for one, we bought two things and never got a bill or the card, here 4 months later they called us and said we missed several payments etc, I explained we never got bill or card, turns out they had wrong address, I looked on application and it had the right address, anyway they were very nasty on the phone, keep in mind this is not the store never had trouble in the store or with the store. I went there and called them back, paid the bill in full and had them cancel the card, which they said they did even gave me a conformation number etc. 2 months later get a bill in the mail from them, saying there was a late fee plus interest due, I explained this card was canceled and paid off and gave them the confirmation number too to prove it it meant nothing to them, this is the bank not the store. They said they would need to do an investigation we are still waiting the outcome, since purchase now has been almost a year. So by this July 2020 I will be canceling my card, I will still shop Boscov's but if you have the store card do like me and get rid of it and use another card or just pay for the items out right. Read moreWe shop at Boscov’s regularly; I should give a lower rating but I won’t because of the excellent customer service that we received from Ed in the Men’s department and Cindy in jewelry; Apple in the men’s department is why you got 4 stars. We bought over $450 worth of merchandise. We went to the men’s section to checkout because the lines were shorter. I was the next person in line and a white couple was behind me in line. An employee by the name of Apple was next to the register and she looked at me, she DID NOT offer to ring me up while her co-worker, Ed was finishing up with the customer he had. When I went to Ed’s register, Apple decided to say to the white couple that was behind me that she could ring them up. Ed, was white; Apple is not white, maybe Indian/Asian; I’m not white. Apple was blatant about what she did. Why didn’t she offer to ring me up, while Ed was finishing up with the customer in front of him? Why did Apple wait until I went to Ed’s register to offer to help the customer behind me? Excellent customer service from Ed in the men’s department and Cindy in jewelry.
