This is a lovely place to shop, and for that, I give it five stars. However, I am leaving this poor review for my recent experience. Having never been before, I went in to peruse and a man at the desk said hello, introducing himself as Scott. I did not see the dog lying on the carpet in front of the counter and accidentally stepped on the poor thing. I let out an embarrassing ahhh! And the whole thing startled me, and in doing so I moved awkwardly as I tried to get away from the dog who was simultaneously getting up because some person had just stepped on it. This jarred my lower back where I have rods and screws from an recent injury and as I walked around the store I was bummed that I was hurting from the dog incident. So I decided to leave. The guys at Le Rouge tete are the best. We have brought several items to them to sell. They are able to showcase items so that they are desirable. Perhaps the easiest example to cite how willing they are to make everyone happy is the dark wicker bedroom set they sold. When they first took it to their shop they left it as is.
