Shoe Dept. — Local services in Morehead City

I frequently shop at Shoe Dept. stores. I recently moved and decided to check out this Shoe Dept. for tennis shoes for my husband. The staff was so rude! They made rude jokes and repeatedly teased my husband that he would need to pay for shoes since he tried them on. They don't want you to lace the shoes here. Every time he laced a pair of shoes to try them on, a store associate would come over and unlace them as soon as he had the shoe off. Also, every shoe he wanted to try on was missing. The store associate spent 5 minutes searching all the shoe displays to find the missing shoes. Why are all the shoes on display? I was very offended by their humor and their lack of organization. I would like to share my pleasant experience. I'm visiting my friend in Swansboro, NC and we decided to go to TJ Maxx. After we finished, we decided to stop in the Shoe Dept. to see if I could find any shoes for work. I do not normally buy shoes unless I can find a deal. There were two extremely helpful associates who assisted my friend and I while also assisting other customers. My friend kept sending the associates back to the back to get different sized Hey Dudes. Nice selection of shoes and good prices. I went to buy my husband a pair of dress shoes. I noticed when the cashier was checking the shoes the toe had a scuff so I told him I was going to go check for another pair in the same size. To my relief they had another pair but the box looked terrible. I said this is a gift, could I put these in the other box. He said well I'm sorry mam, wish I could but we aren't allowed to do that.
