Michaels — Local services in Morehead City

I was finished shopping & I noticed that my phone had died, I had come to Michaels by Lyft. It was very unusual for my phone to die so I was not able to reach them accept by their app. Caroline tried so hard to find me a ride home. She kept looking up numbers but couldn't reach anyone. We tried to call a cab but no one answered! I had no idea how I would get home. I'm not able to walk that far & have no one to call. I was starting to get a little worried but Caroline kept plugging away even though she was due to get off work. She finally had to go home but she didn't give-up. She turned me over to Henri, another nice lady. We finally were able to get a cab to pick me up. I'm 71 & by then, I was so exhausted. I want to thank both Caroline & Henri for going above & beyond to help me. I'm forever grateful to them. They could have turned me in & given up. Thanks Caroline & Henri! You're the best. Love this place. Most things here are a bit too expensive, but you can get good prices when things go on sale. Hobby Lobby generally has better sales and a coupon code on their website at all times for 40% off one regular priced item. Michael’s has a coupon code on their website at all times for 30% off one regular priced item, so you still have to pay a little more here. Sometimes they have things that you can’t find at other stores, so paying a little more can sometimes be worth it if you know that Michael’s is the only place that carries a limited item. I called before driving 30 minutes down there. I found 4 deals that showed a Cricut Easy press on sale in different locations. It was an amazing deal for $40 at different Walmarts around our area but far enough where I didn’t want to drive all the way out there and with the military travel ban, unable to. They told me they were able to do the price match and then all the sudden they were unable to when I got there.
