This was my go to spot for 2 years straight because the customer service was great compared to a lot of other places. But as of a few months ago, they have had such poor customer service. They close at 7pm and I showed up at 5:50 for a fill only, no crazy designs, just one solid color and that's it, they said "I think we're done for the day" didn't even bother to say sorry or offer to come back at another time/day. If you're done for the day then why not shut/lock your doors? The guy who typically stands in the front now (wears glasses) is extremely rude. Last time I went I didn't have cash so I tipped the tech with debit card, the guy with the glasses became upset that I tipped with card and said "that's fine but next time bring cash" how are you going to tell me how to tip?! I typically pay cash tip but this time I did not have cash! So I paid an extra $10 so they could tip the nail tech and not once did I see he took out the $10 to give to the nail tech. He just said thanks and sent me on my way. they also have a punch card for a "reward" system, when I finally reached my $20 off, the same guy with the glasses seemed to be upset that I used my $20 off coupon, A SYSTEM THEY CREATED, and when I asked for a new card since I already used up the previous one, he said "no not for this service, next time". My grandma was also with me and she asked her for punch card & again he became upset and didn't want to give her one because I assume I already used my $20 off? Whoever he is, ever since I've noticed him standing at the front desk the customer service has fallen terribly. Went in to get a pedicure and acrylic set. When asked what type of pedicure I wanted I told her just the regular one as I wanted nothing fancy. She ended up doing gel even though that's only what my friend was getting. The guy doing my nails was super rude and seemed bothered to be there. My nails came out bumpy, uneven and has oxygen in them (bumps in the paint and lighter around the edges). When I told him I wanted the nail to be more rounded he said there would be no shape. Also, he gave me attitude as this was my first time getting nails and every time I asked him to file them down a little more, he snapped saying "I still need to file it X more times." Additionally, I asked for my cuticles to be cut by hand as I know that's the proper way to do cuticles when it comes to acrylics. He talked down to me like I didn't know what I was talking about and continued to drill my cuticles. Now they're dry and uneven. I know the process as I had gone with friends before and they tell me what to look out for. In the beginning of the appointment, I showed him a picture of the nails I wanted but that I wanted to do round nails instead of almond and he gave me almond. I got gel on my nails and the pink base is very streaky and looks bad especially with all the bubbles. I got charged a little more than $100 for a mani pedi that was worth maybe $40-50. The first two times I came they showed me kindness and that they cared. But after these last 3 times was horrible I was getting cut by an older women I told her multiple times that she was hurting me and she just looked up to me and said beauty is pain my dear and continue to cut and hurt me I also asked the last two times that I went for them not to give me the same woman that was doing my toes but they still gave her to me and I would ask them if a pedicure is supposed to be painful they said that she is old but as I continue to tell them that this is my third time coming with the same person that I asked for them not to put me with they still did I will never go back here again my acrilic nails they’d put on my big toe were the thickest thing ive ever seen like dude !!!
