I was shopping at the Chicos near Southpoint and had a wonderful experience. The sales people were welcoming and helpful while I shopped. When one of the items I was interested in was not available in my size the sales person offered to call the Morrisville store to see if they had it in stock. Morrisville Chicos had it, so off I went. When I arrived and explained to the salesperson what I was there to pick up she realized that I had been shopping at the outlet store in Durham. (I had no idea there was a difference) She was extraordinarily rude and condescending when telling me I was mistaken that the item was not being held for me there because they don't carry OUTLET merchandise. Now reading the previous reviews I see that I am not the only one that has had a similar experience at the Morrisville Chicos. I will never shop in this store...

One woman came out of the back eating something and exclaimed oh I didn’t know anyone was in here ! REALLY ! U are being paid to know when you have customers ! Also after I try on on blouse she asked me So ? Really SO …. What kind of question is that exactly …. And then to top things off she tells me she likes my accent. Well I’m not the one with an accent. I was born and raised here in NC. AND I’M NOT THE ONE WiTH AN ACCENT ! She thought it was funny ! I assured she is not funny ! This woman does not need to be working in such a nice business ! Note to the owners: I understand that this is Chico's clothing store, but the similarity to Chicos (without the apostrophe) could lead to miscommunication.
That's like if a man named Guy Handsome owned a women's dress and sundries shop named Handsome Guy's Fashion. Think how many people who walk in there with hopes of looking more handsome. Instead they find that they can only buy things that make them look pretty, and féminine.
My advice? Regardless of the owner's name, I suggest that you call this very feminine store by a more féminine name,...
