China King Buffet — Restaurant in Mount Airy

Dark and dingy environment with very little to offer for lunch. Zero authentic options but it's exactly what you'd expect of a dirty run down mountain town. The food is surprisingly good when you're starving; but I still wouldn't suggest it to a friend. Lucky cat wasn't so much waving at me as it was longing for me - hell anyone - to relieve it from it's pointless existence. At any moment you expect to see an escaped government experiment stumble wild-eyed from behind one of the many tattered curtains which conceal long closed and forgotten dining areas. Customer Service in this place is null! Our price is never the same twice here. After being charged two different prices within less a week here I ask cashier about change in prices. Cashier literally screams at me loud enough for whole place to take notice. She don't know why she charges everyone the same. Explained I was looking for the answer to why the price changed not that everyone paid different. She really flipped pulled receipts flipping them in my face while screaming she don't know and she don't care she just works there. Not once did she offer to get a actual manager to answer questions. She continued to scream and be over the top untill my husband said " it's ok we just won't come back" to which she screams I DONT CARE! 😳 I mean seriously all cause I questioned...

I ate there one day and didn't care for it. The other day I thought, well maybe I caught them on a bad day and went again. It was the worst most vile Chinese food I've ever had. Most of the food at the buffet was luke cool. I guess the first time I ate there was on one of their good days. I'll never eat there again. I spit out more food than I ate.
